Williams is making a case for herself as the top prospect in the Ohio 2027 class given her length at 6’4 and her athleticism that combined help create great advantages for herself and her team. She is an extremely tough match up at this age group as she can elevate and swing over most blocks when on time in the air. Williams can get well above the net on both sides of the ball and it will be fun to see her skill set grow as moves through her prep development and experience.

At 6’0, Forrest has some of the most polished skills as a middle of any prospect in this class, which is impressive given the age group. She is among the conversation as the top prospect currently in Ohio among 2027s given the impact she can make with her versatility, fluid movement, and impact on both sides of the ball. She has a great arm in the air and she gets herself into good position to be able to maximize her jump along with her arm control and power. Defensively, she has good footwork to close down hitters and penetrates with intention to slow down hitters effectively.
Rian Strickland – Elite VBTC
At 5’9, Strickland makes a great impact in the middle phase for this team. She is athletic and does good work to get herself available in transition. She has good court sense, watches the ball well, and develops good spacing and timing. What is noticeable is her arm control in the air as she can elevate and swing in all directions given she remains aware of what is in front of her on the other side of the net to be able to find space.

Tierney is a workhorse in the middle as she does a lot of her work early and with good intention to get herself available consistently as a middle presence offensively. She has good arm movement and is aggressive through her swing to generate good power. She also understands well her positioning around her setter to audible options and create varied range of attack points. At 5’11, she gained some big experience during the high school season that she continues to improve upon this early club season.

Elevation
George is just 5’9, undersized for a middle. However, she can do a lot of things given her athleticism that helps create big lift and an aggressive arm. Listed as a middle, she will take a good balance of swings at the pin and through middle locations which allows her to score in a variety of ways as a key threat at the net for her team. Her arm speed is one of her best attributes as she can challenge net defense well at the top of her approach pattern.

Moeddel is the key counterpart in the middle to this team’s best prospect in Forrest, providing this squad great production on both sides of the ball. She can hold her own through her three rotations with her length and improved contact quality. At 6’0 she has good

and when on time and with good space she can be terminal to score. With improved footwork and if she can develop more torque in her arm swing she will be much more dangerous.

At 6’1, Acton has good length and physical presence at the net to combine with Willilams to create a tough duo in this area of the game. She has potential to become a really good middle in this Ohio class and is in a good situation to develop those skills this season and over the course of her prep career. Her length can create a high contact point above the net and as she and her setter continue to develop and timing she will undoubtedly be making a bigger impact as a point scorer through the back half of the club season.
