The Xavier commit was terrific during the 2025 fall season finishing third overall offensively at 315 total kills while among the top defensive players with 94 total blocks, good for second in the GGCL. A 6’1 middle, her efficiency in the fall jumped to .464 and to a 53% kill rate, making her a tough out for any defense, especially when she is in rhythm through any of her attack points in front and overhead of her setter. Her 452 kills over the past two seasons with Seton helped them earn two consecutive Ohio Division I state titles. This run included on two losses overall. Zero in 2025. Moeddel was a 2nd team all-Ohio selection in 2025.

Moeddel had an outstanding club season that has parlayed over to the high school season. She pounds balls and makes effective blocks from both the middle and the pins. St. Ursula especially could not stop her on the shoots in the Seton win. Moeddel mixed in tips to open spots on the floor. Moeddel said getting off the net fast and going fast in transition to beat blocks was a big key to control the net.

Moeddel is arriving back to Seton following a highly productive club season. The Xavier commit has upgraded her tools at the net on both sides of the ball. She can terminate aggressively while also being able to fill up space above the tape when blocking. Seton is the defending DI Ohio state champion and Moeddel will be a key contributor to their effort to repeat. In their first match, she led the Saints’ offense with 14 kills on a .522 efficiency to go along with three blocks in a 3-0 win over Turpin.

Moeddel is another middle in the top 10 of this rankings cycle, and one that has great tools that showcase her terminal ability on offense and an impact quality to through her blocking mechanics and effort in that phase. A noticeable aspect in her game is her extension in the air, whether through her high elbow contact above the net on offense or in how she can get up quickly and press well across the tape on defense. She is athletic and quick and her offensive range is is a product of that as it is extensive in how she can score through various options and approach patterns around her setter.

Moeddel has a quick release and just mastered the quick, which spells trouble for opponents because it is one of the toughest hits to defend, especially if they are undersized. Moeddel also ran the slides well helping the 16 Blue team go 3-0 on Sunday and make it to the quarterfinals of the Elite Division Bracket championship game.

Moeddel returns to the club season with upgraded tools coming off of a successful high school season with Seton as she was a major contributor as the Saints earned the DI state title. She earned 2.2 k/s on a .392 efficiency while also finishing top-10 in blocking in the GGCL. In the state title match she had 10 kills on a team best .421 efficiency to go with three blocks in the 3-0 sweep. She is fluid in her movement that has increased her arm speed when attacking and her quick response on the defensive side. She will combine with another top-10 2027 prospect for Tri-State Elite to make up one of the best middle duos in this Ohio age group. They open up with Power League play in Louisville early January.

Moeddel gave an additional weapon at the net to the already deep Saints and played a big role helping them to the state’s largest Division I state championship. Nicknamed Chuck, Moeddel has learned to use her size well. Moeddel sends short sets from the middle and creases to different parts of the court rising over blockers. Moeddel is also not afraid to take things off hits to land balls in open parts of the court. Moeddel turned into a solid blocker for Seton this year as well. Moeddel finished with 137 kills including nine in the state championship game to go with a team-high 54 blocks.
