As we prepare for the start of the event, let’s take a look at some promising prospects from the Lone Star State that will be on the court, now featuring the outside hitters:
Kendrick plays at the pin for The Woodlands Skyline 15 Royal, a team that will feature in the 15 USA division. She had a fantastic freshman high school season with College Park and has continued to stand out during club, becoming one of the main offensive weapons in her team. Kendrick has good size and a skilled right arm, but her main offensive asset is her vision, which allows her to see the game well across the net and make good decisions with her swings. She’s also a talented beach volleyball player and has developed several areas of her game with her work on the sand.
Kropewnicki’s SA Magic 16 Elite team will be in action in the 16 Open division in Las Vegas. She plays with a lot of determination and works very hard on both sides of the ball, being a very important piece in the team. The outside hitter has a strong all-around game and has the skills and the confidence to play a major role in serve-receive, while also being extremely productive. Kropewnicki also uses her long arms very well offensively, making contact with the ball at a high point and finding nice angles to beat blockers and defenders. She’s a player who will always be willing to do whatever it takes for the team, including playing different positions.
