Class of 2026 Rankings Update: Heavy Hitters

She collected 256 kills, 351 digs, and 303 assists in 88 sets played last season. She can play setter, defensive specialist, or outside hitter at the next level. She also averaged 14.8 points per game last season for the Wildcat's basketball squad. I have her pegged as a NAIA or JUCO prospect, but have no idea which sport the young prospects prefers to play. Prep Dig has Unruh ranked No. 91 overall, while Prep Girls Hoops has her ranked at No. 69 in the Class of 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='492583' first='Lucy' last='Anderson']</strong>, 5'7”, OH, Frontenac</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Anderson parlayed a big sophomore hitting season into a rankings debut. She racked up 392 kills in 93 sets played for the Raiders. She is a six-rotation prospect with a tough serve. Anderson filled out her impressive stat line with 89 aces, 358 digs, and 345 serve receptions. She makes consistent first passes and made just 15 receiving errors. The Frontenac prospect is currently ranked No. 99 overall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='526190' first='Halle' last='Mizner'], </strong>5'9”, OH, Rock Hills</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rock Hills Grizzlies have a hitter making her debut in the rankings this month. The Mankato sophomore finished her sophomore season with 274 kills. She can play six rotations as evidenced by her 392 receptions, 316 digs, and 42 total blocks.  She can also score off her serve as she recorded 41 aces in 80 sets played.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523690' first='Maddie' last='Coester']</strong>, 5'10”, OH, Girard</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig has Coester ranked No. 121 overall. The Girard attacker finished with 327 kills in 93 sets played last season for the Trojans. Her bulky sophomore stat line included 349 serve receptions, 295 digs, and 42 total blocks. Coester also plays basketball for Girard as a shooting guard and small forward option.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='526202' first='Lilly' last='Like']</strong>, 5'8”, OH, Derby</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Like is an athletic outside with a sweet swing. She saw a significant increase in playing team and in total kills between her freshman and sophomore campaigns. In 91 sets played, she recorded 241 kills after a freshman season of 116 kills in 73 sets played. She entered the rankings at the No. 125 position, but don't be surprised if the Panther prospect sees a big jump in the rankings next time around.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
