Most, if not all, of the local tournaments here in Indiana have completed for the year. Let's move on to the kids who are making the biggest maturity leap in their age groups. Here are five athletes from the class of '27 from five different clubs that are terminators from both pins.

[player_tooltip player_id='260995' first='Caroline' last='Ward'], 6-0 RS, Tri-West, Boiler Juniors

Playing up a year on the 16 Gold squad, Caroline is easily the highest flying and hardest hitting kid on this list. I have her as the #1 recruit in this class because of her five-tool presence on the court---attacking, blocking, defending, serve receive, and serving. She can do it all, and can do it a year up with the best team in the 16s division in the state. She's also recently been named to Volleyball Magazine's class of '27 watch list for the Fab 50, which features the top 50 players in the country in each class.

[player_tooltip player_id='435863' first='Jenna' last='Dittmer'], 5-9 OH, Zionsville, Circle City

A six-rotation outside with consistent play and a high volleyball IQ is what to expect from Miss Dittmer. She has all the makings of an exceptional beach player too---her ball control is above average for outsides in this class. I like her quick arm swing and decisive movements when she plays; she commits to whatever she does at 100%, and it shows in the matches.

[player_tooltip player_id='327227' first='Hayden' last='Mandsager'], 6-1 OH, Cathedral, Rev

A big and physical outside, Hayden hammers away at undisciplined blocks and can score at will in a fast offense. Broad-shouldered and strong, Hayden is looking more and more the part of a Division I left side every time I see her. Of the kids listed today, she might have the most potential to make it big in the fall of '27.

[player_tooltip player_id='435859' first='Everly' last='Clark'], 5-9 OH, Bloomington South, BTown

Smooth and springy, Miss Clark is a six-rotation, primary-passing outside that looks more and more every day like the D-1 prospect that I have her as. She makes this game look easy in all aspects, and can hit every shot in the book. She's currently playing on an under-the-radar club in Bloomington, but that shouldn't stop her from getting big time looks in the coming year to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='443842' first='Lucy' last='May'], 5-10 OH, Triton Central, Team Indiana

With the ability to hit from both pins, Lucy can be anything from a three-rotation attacker to an all-around pin player at the next level. Last fall, she had plenty of opportunities to put balls away on varsity. With her upper-level training at TI, her all-around game is refining itself quite nicely. New to my rankings, Lucy belongs among the elite pin attackers in this class.
