We are in the process of building the Class of 2026 National Rankings. We’ve seen top athletes from across the country. Here is a glimpse of athletes who are among the best in their state and even the country.
Andrews has been a force out in the PNW, playing for Athena 17 Gold. At 6’1, Andrews has a lot of length and athleticism as a high scoring outside hitter. She is a six rotation player where she can serve receive, pass, and be a legit threat out of the backrow. She is the top player out of Oregon’s Class of 2026 and will be a big time target for Oregon as they make their way into the Big Ten. I have to believe she will also be a target for Big Ten schools from the Midwest as well. Someone with her skill set can contribute to a team in multiple ways.
Highlights
Resmer is Prep Dig’s number one player in the Class of 2026 from Indiana. She is a fast twitch, dynamic middle blocker who brings a very quick arm swing where she can go to her left or right. A high academic student, Resmer also brings that high IQ to the court where she has great vision and knows where the open spot is to score points. Her blocking ability is high level with her ability to go from pin to pin and close the open spot with her hand placement. This has been a Boiler team who has had a huge qualifier season and there could be some other athletes from this squad who are among the nationally ranked.
Tarnow’s game out of the middle has been evolving over the past year. She has always had the length and height, but her athleticism, physicality, shot making, and blocking have reached another level. She had a big weekend playing at the 18s USAV Nationals where 1st Alliance 18 Gold finished second in open. She is in the heart of Big Ten country and will be a big target for these programs to chat with come June 15. Her 1st Alliance 16 Gold team won the Salt Lake National Qualifier and will have a full crew of 2026s to watch over the summer live period. They will be playing at the Prep Dig Gauntlet at Milwaukee Sting June 8-9.
Stanley fought through an injury to start the club season, but she is back at it with her Dynasty squad out of the Kansas City area. Stanley has a unique skill set where she has a lot of length on the right side, touching over ten feet. She can play six rotations and is always a threat to score out of the right back. Her ability to do a little bit of everything really well sets her apart from others at her position. A right side six rotation player of Stanley’s caliber is rare. There is a huge upside to her game that will translate well to the next level.

Artilles was really impressive for Tribe 16 Cardinal this past club season. I was able to see her at Triple Crown and again at Windy City. Her strength and physicality are just different. The pop from her swing makes it really difficult for the other side of the net to keep the ball in system. She can swing with pace and pop from the backrow as well. Tribe snagged a 16 Open bid to Vegas. The 16s at Tribe in general are very strong where their 16 Navy team made it to multiple to day three gold pools at national qualifiers.

Since Carlson has entered high school, she has been playing at the 18s level with FC Elite 18 Elite who has traditionally qualified for USAV 18 Open. Carlson was the MVP of the 16 National Division at USAV as an 8th grader for FC Elite 16 Navy. During the high school season, Carlson is a top kill leader in all of Wisconsin as an outside hitter. When it comes to club, she is trending as a high level libero prospect. She will have plenty of options at the next level where she can be used as a libero or an attacking DS. She is a really lethal outside hitter as well.
Sports Performance 16 Elite has had a huge season, finishing in the final four at multiple high level events. Burgdorf played on 16 Elite last season and is now playing with her own age group. She is very fundamentally sound where she is a primary passer in serve receive, can defend, and score points from anywhere on the court. This will be a team that will have plenty of high level college programs watching this summer with a roster full of big time 2026 talent.
