We are super excited to partner with USA Volleyball once again to run the official college recruiting showcase for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. The first session will be held on July 2nd at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. We are going to be previewing some of the players who have already signed up to participate. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. Without further ado, here are a few players who you should be watching at the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='484379' first='Brooke' last='Starr'] [2025] 5-7 Setter (HS: Lovejoy/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='475085' first='1United' last='']/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Brooke is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Lovejoy High School and also plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='475085' first='1United' last=''] volleyball club. Miss Starr is a solid distributor of the ball who jump sets to all locations. She minimizes how many steps she takes when tracking the ball and this makes her very efficient with her footwork. Her hands look identical to each other when making contact with the ball and this will keep her very consistent with set location. The ball comes out of her hands very clean and quick. I love how she has great power to push the ball all the way to the left side pin during tough angles and out of system locations. This young lady can ball and I am looking forward to seeing her in action at the Showcase at Nationals. I am sure she will be one of the top setters to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='542216' first='Lani' last='Liava'a'] [2025] 5-11 Outside (HS: Mira Costa/Club: Mizuno Long Beach/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Lani is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but I am very intrigued to watch her at the showcase. She plays volleyball at Mira Costa High School and club for the nationally recognized Mizuno Long Beach volleyball program. Miss Liava'a is super smooth on the court and has great ball control in every aspect of the game. She takes a very picturesque approach to the ball that looks beautiful in motion. The power that her upper body has is on full display when she makes contact with the ball while attacking. If there is no block to try to slow her down, it is an instant kill straight down as she gets perfectly on top of the ball with her hand contact. Speaking of her hand contact, it is amazing at the way she is able to move the ball around to any location she wants to deliver the ball to. As an attacker, she is the type of scorer who can beat you in a variety of ways at the net. I think she will showcase very well to schools who need a ball control expert outside. If you are in need of one, look no further coaches.

LillyAnne Christensen [2026] 5-11 Middle (HS: Shadow Ridge/Club: Top Flight/Verbal: Uncommitted)

LillyAnne is currently ranked as the 31st overall prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Nevada State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Shadow Ridge High School and club for Top Flight volleyball program. Miss Christensen patrols the net very well out of the middle for her club team. She has a great frame and solid power to do some damage on both sides of the ball. I like how aggressive she is during tight passes to the net. She is always looking to battle with anyone who comes into her zone. Overpasses are obliterated the moment she jumps and makes contact. I like how active her footwork is. During serve receive, she is always anticipating getting the set and is always ready to run her route. You hardly ever see her heels hit the ground, which makes her very bouncy and fast to the ball. Middles like her, who have a high motor, seem to be involved in every play and give a lot to their squads in each match. I think she will be fun to watch in the showcase and we wills see how she matches up with some amazing competition from across the nation.
