If you love volleyball, then you know Indiana is a hot bed for talent. And if you follow the sport, especially during club season, you've certainly seen some players mentioned a lot, and for good reason. However, today let's do something different. Today I want to introduce to you the attackers from Indiana you have likely not heard about from the class of 2026. Somehow these talented young players have not been written about until now, but today we're giving them the credit they are due.

Bre plays on an incredibly talented Boiler Juniors team that has had a successful club season and are on their way to USAV Jr Nationals in the Open division this week. Her quickness was what caught my attention immediately; her ability to transition from anywhere on the net and quickly get up, paired with her speed to close the gap when blocking is phenomenal. She has a high reach when attacking and uses long approach arms to get over the block. Morgan can hit both directions when attacking quick balls in front and the slide behind. Lastly, she knows how to take care of an overpass every single time. This young lady has definitely got IT; remember her name because you're going to see her more.

Bassett and her Team Indiana 16.1 crew are headed to Vegas this week as well for USAV Jr Nationals in the 16 American division. She is the solid, steady, 6-rotation OH that every team needs and wants to have on their roster. Her serve receive when she is both back and front row is the 3 C's: calm, collected & confident; the type of player you feel confident passing next to. Her back row attacking is the same - confident and effective. Audrey also reads hitters well when playing middle back defense and didn't miss an opportunity to cover one time when I watched her. In the front row she is a shot placer - she can hit both deep corners, the roll shot to the middle of the court and a hard driven ball through the hole in the block. She is the 6-rotation OH other players love to play with.

What I love so much about Brenna is that she is always an option in transition for her setter. Even if she can only get off the net 3 feet and jump straight back up for the 1 ball, she is there and hitting a good effective shot AROUND the block. She scores so well in transition. While watching, I saw her hit every shot in the book on the quick set: tip to zone 4, push to deep 5, right over the block, and both hard driven cut back and power shots near the 10-foot line. Storz has mastered the art of hitting the slide line which really gives the opponent's left back defender fits because they have to be ready for both her tip and a shot at their head. When blocking she has big hands (no Barbie hands here) and takes up a lot of space along the net.

You know those players who can just flat out jump and hang in the air? That is [player_tooltip player_id='303594' first='Ellie' last='Adams']. Every time she approaches, she works to get deep so she can use that big jump of hers. I especially love how well she adjusts to the sets to keep the ball out in front - this allows her to capitalize on her jumping ability and swing hard every single time. Adams is an OH that has no fear when she is attacking; she is going to be aggressive and swing hard the majority of the time, keeping the opposing defense on their toes the entire match. Just like Bassett, whom we mentioned earlier, Ellie is a solid 6 rotation player who fits the three Cs when in serve receive: calm, confident and collected. She does especially well when she is front row and passing in left back, and then swinging to hit. Confident six rotation OH's are hard to come by these days, but Ellie certainly fits the bill.

Kelsee is the epitome of a true utility player. She can hit both on the left and right, but what really caught my attention was that she could pass and swing to hit on both sides effectively. When Coil hits, she isn't just swinging to keep the ball in, she is swinging to take the air out of the ball and the other team. You know when you can HEAR a player hit because they swing with so much power? This young lady hits that way and is able to do it in every direction - line, cross court and seam - from both pins. One thing that I really love about the way she plays is her blocking. She isn't a huge blocker, so she has to be disciplined, and that she is. I don't see much standard (non-swing) blocking anymore, but when I see it done well, it is such a beautiful sight because it is so controlled and effective. Kelsee lines up so well with the hitter when blocking and is able to jump straight up and press over without reaching so that she can either get a stuff or her teammates can play good defense behind her.
