USAV GJNC Player Watchlist and Schedules - 16s

<p>The USAV GJNC (aka Nationals) are finally here! The full tournament is over a week long for the age divisions 14-17. I'm so excited to see Nevada's top teams compete on our home turf in Las Vegas. Predig Nevada wishes all of our players and coaches the best of luck. From July 3-7, the 16s and 17s will be playing. She is a strong hitter that attacks the ball at a high contact point and becoming a true six rotation player. Smart and patient player that is captivating to watch. She is ranked as one of the best players overall in the country and has committed to the University of Pittsburgh. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='325888' first='Trinity' last='Thompson'] | S/L - #2 player in 2026, #1 setter in Nevada, strong hitter, becoming a six rotation player, 2023 Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year and a 5A state champ. She is a versatile player, can play setter or libero well, and tallies some blocks in games. Thompson recently committed to University of Pittsburgh. <br></p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='543091' first='Hannah' last='Wayment'] | MB - #2 middle and #8 player in the class of 2026, 5state runner up. She is a standout in middle with a powerful swing, can hit multiple middle attacks well and is a very good blocker. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='525323' first='Gentry' last='Oblad'] | OH - #7 player in the class of 2026 and 5A state runner up. Smart attacker, nice vertical and does a good job beating the block. Very quick swing and great energy. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='545757' first='Hadley' last='Trainor'] | DS/L - #2 libero and #15 overall player in the class of 2026. Great reading skills and passing technique. She hustles hard and isn't afraid to get on the floor. Does well on serve receive and backrow defense. Good energy and the type of player you want on your team to keep you competitive in games. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='543140' first='Ellie' last='Prindl'] | MB - 5A state champ, #5 middle and #11 overall player in class of 2026. Ellie is great at hitting deep corner and around and through the block. Good energy and can score with multiple different middle attacks. Transitions quickly to be available to hit more often. Good blocking footwork and technique. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='543915' first='Bella' last='Risling'] | OH - #5 outside and #10 overall player in the class of 2026. Bella has a fast, strong approach with a great armswing. Consistently beats blocks and can hit both line and cross court with power. Very impressive on the outside. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='526099' first='K' last='Sawyer'] | S - #3 setter in the class of 2026. Sawyer is a dedicated setter always putting in the extra work to be better than yesterday. Clean sets and great jump setter that places the ball in ideal spots for hitters to have multiple attack options. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='551402' first='Isabella' last='Steiner'] | Pin/DS - versatile player that can score on both the outside or oppo. Great blocker and can kill an overpass 10 ft line. Audrey is a smart hitter that seems to find holes in her opponents deep corners. She runs a nice 3 and quick in middle, often scoring. She's also one of the best blockers in her class. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='547176' first='Madison' last='Jameson'] | MB/RS - #4 in her position and #9 in the class of 2026. Madison has a high vertical and powerful swing. She gets on top of the ball and scores a ton of points for her team. She runs a beautiful slide and uses her height to her advantage to get huge blocks. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='544654' first='Tamara' last='Unga'] | Pin - #7 outside in the class of 2026. She is one of the most versatile players in her class and can play multiple positions effectively. She is a powerful hitter and can put the ball down anywhere on front row. She is very athletic and hustles her butt off on back row. Milana patient hitter that has great timing and can hit well on the outside and opposite side. She has a powerful swing and finds holes in the defense often. Great player with elite skills. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='529026' first='Katie' last='Gomez'] | DS/L - Katie is great at reading hitters on defense and does a great job playing left back. Versatile player that can play all six rotations. Strong server, smart hitter and good DS. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='528259' first='Emagin' last='Stutzman'] | OH - #10 outside in the clas of 2027. She is an explosive pin hitter with a great swing and wrist snap. High energy and does a great job hitting around and through the block. She can play all six rotations and can attack on backrow. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='547212' first='Grace' last='Passalacqua'] | MB - Grace is impressive in middle front, hitting around blocks and earning blocks for her team. Unlike most middles, she can play all six rotations well and hit back row.
