I was introduced to Lillyanne as a middle hitter last club and school season, but she has now transitioned to oppo. No doubt, the 5’10” sophomore can perform multiple types of middle attacks effectively, but she seemed to be a natural fit on the right side. During drills, she impressed with her transition footwork off the net and her ability to deliver hard, cross-court shots. The showcase allowed her to flex her skills in her newfound position in a competitive environment. The versatile hitter raised her stock, now being able to play two positions.
