The courts buzzed with prospects showcasing their skills to college coaches roaming the venue. My focus was on the middles, and they did not disappoint. From out-of-system hitting drills to commanding blocks throughout game play, the middles dominated.
Here’s a summary of my observations from the night.
Kennedy Cooper is an exciting player to watch. She is dynamic and adept at keeping the ball in play, even when out of system. When the set is perfect, she unleashes powerful hits. Kennedy’s versatility makes her a valuable asset on the court, as she can adapt to different game situations seamlessly. Her ability to maintain composure under pressure and deliver strong performances consistently sets her apart from other middles in her class. Highlights
Mackenzie Ray is highly athletic and excels at hitting out of system. She has a remarkable ability to find the ball and position herself effectively. Mackenzie’s agility and quick thinking allow her to make impactful plays, even in challenging situations. Brynn Bohn Brynn Bohn 6'2" | MB Ripon Christian | 2026 CA is a vocal player who consistently calls for her sets. Her standout moves include strong, aggressive tips at the net. Dedicated and hard-working, she plans to stay by the coast for college. Brynn’s favorite pre-game meal includes an English muffin, fried egg, bacon, and orange juice. Her communication skills and dedication make her a pivotal player on the court, while her enthusiasm and strong work ethic inspire her teammates, making her an invaluable asset. Highlights
Georgia Depiano was determined and gave a 110% throughout the showcase. She is shy but outgoing once comfortable and has a strong presence on the court. Fun fact, her favorite meal is a Jimmy John’s sandwich. Georgia’s dedication and determination drove her to excel in every game of the night. Ella Ealy has an impressive reach and strong defensive skills at the net. Her physical build and defensive talents make her a serious opponent at the net. She is highly involved and is enthusiastic about the recruiting process. Her active participation in furthering her volleyball journey demonstrates her commitment to advancing her volleyball career.
