There was a talented group of 2026 prospects that took part in the 2024 Michigan Stock Up Showcase on Sunday in Pontiac.

We will be sure to get to them all throughout the week.

Let's get things started with a collection of players in Part 1.

Amelia Ashcroft, DS/L Milford/Dynamite

I like the drive I saw out of Ashcroft. She showed a lot of heart on the court and put all of her effort into each rep and opportunity she got. She's got a lot of natural athleticism, which allowed her to cover a lot of space and make some impressive dives throughout the showcase. She also transitioned well to any offensive opportunities that came her way.

McCoy Turner, OH/MH Mercy

Turner has good spring off the floor and can generate a lot of power with her swing. She definitely wanted to push the pace on the court and showcase her power. However, there are times where it looks like she could dial it back and score with some offspeed shots. When she was composed and in control on the floor, she made some really nice plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='503858' first='Avery' last='Benson'], OH/DS DeWitt/Five:1

Benson was able to do a good job of adapting on the fly. She approached the net with a lot of momentum and ready to take on a big swing, but then was able to adjust herself when the sets weren't quite where they needed to be and still found a home for the ball. With that said, I think Benson has another gear she can hit at the net. She's got the athleticism and body control to really unload on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='537306' first='Annamarie' last='Myint'], DS/L Dexter/HVVC

Myint was a laser-focused prospect that did a great job of communicating with her teammates on the floor to direct the frantic traffic defensively. She also displayed the ability to take on a solid back-row swing, or play a smooth bump to set up one of her hitters. Myint was a gamer that bounced back quickly from a bad rep and wanted to go up against the best.

[player_tooltip player_id='490036' first='Emma' last='Rosenow'], OH Romeo/Michigan Elite

The 6-foot Rosenow has a very straightforward swing that provided consistent power and velocity. She's got a lot of athleticism, which allows her to move well along the net and adjust quickly to the ball as it comes her way. Rosenow did a good job of staying within herself and making the most of each attempt she got. She knew when to dial back and when to charge forward and really power the ball to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='569764' first='Amani' last='Agoot'], MH/RS West Bloomfield/Michigan Elite

Agoot really made a name for herself at the showcase with her dominant blocking. During scrimmage play, nobody was getting the ball past her. She's listed at 5'11”, but has a long wingspan and easily gets off the floor to play well above the net. It doesn't take much arm speed for her to generate a lot of power either, as she put down some head-turning kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='584071' first='Madison' last='Boehm'], DS/L Airport/Toledo Dynamic

Boehm is listed at 5'2”, but she mixed it up with some of the big hitters on Sunday. She has a lot of hang time and really explodes off the floor, which allowed her to hold her to make some eye-catching offensive plays during drills and in the scrimmages. She also has a quick first step defensively, which allowed her to get under some powerful attacks. Boehm has a lot of fight in her, which will take her far.
