There was a talented group of 2026 prospects that took part in the 2024 Michigan Stock Up Showcase on Sunday in Pontiac.

We will be sure to get to them all throughout the week.

Let's continue with the next collection of players in Part 4.

[player_tooltip player_id='586769' first='Johanna' last='Taatjes'], RS East Grand Rapids/MVA

[player_tooltip player_id='586769' first='Johanna' last='Taatjes']

A 6-foot hitter on the right side, Taatjes is a name that the EGR program has utilized for years. Johanna is poised for some big things these next two years, as she has an aggressive approach to the net that leads to a lot of success. Her power on the right side is a great compliment to any offense. She dials up a long swing with an explosive follow through. Sometimes her aggression gets the best of her, but keeping her foot on the gas tends to lead to good things.

[player_tooltip player_id='517120' first='Rayeann' last='Deriemacker'], DS/L Anchor Bay/Crank It

Deriemacker was determined to bring her best to the showcase and it looks as if she did. She was a player that always stayed ready and was eager to get herself extra reps. She was a vocal defender that coordinated the back row well and that helped her teammates come through with some tough defensive plays. Deriemacker also moved very smoothly around the floor and kept herself low to the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='310635' first='Taniya' last='Radden'], MH/RS Ottawa Hills/MVA

Radden has a very explosive swing when she can get her full windup in. Sometimes she tried to force that power swing when it wasn't there, but she got a better feel for her speed selection as the showcase went on. Radden gets a lot of hangtime off the floor, which is why she can put down some scary kills. Her hustle is a big strength as well. You won't find many that are out-working her at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='514728' first='Brooke' last='Price'], DS/L Hudsonville/MVA

[player_tooltip player_id='514728' first='Brooke' last='Price']

Price is a player that could be set to make a big name for herself in the Grand Rapids area this fall. She showed the ability to make good choices and make the smart and effective play as opposed to something flashy. When put in hectic situations, Price handled the adversity well and showed she's someone that can come through during pressure points.

[player_tooltip player_id='438529' first='Mckenna' last='Boykin'], MH Portland/MVA

Boykin looked like she has grown a lot as a middle over the last year. Making a move to MVA has brought her game to another level. She showed better patience at the net and was effective with her timing, even when working with a lot of different setters. That led to more consistency and fewer attack errors. She's got consistent power and can play sharp angles, which makes her a prospect that could do some big things in the Lansing area. This could be the fall where she takes more command in the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='584679' first='Emma' last='Dice'], MH Birch Run/Arsenal

Dice shows a lot of heart and fight on the court, but that shouldn't be a surprise from someone that has a past playing football. She was willing to take on the challenges of the showcase without hesitation. She battled hard at the net against longer opponents, but did a good job of holding her own. She's got the athleticism to succeed, just needs to keep fine-tuning her swing. Her defensive play shows a lot of promise as well, as she pushed herself to get to the ball and make some tough digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='442613' first='Lily' last='Sukup'], OH/DS Goodrich/Five:1

Sukup has had a great club season and her confidence on the court really shows. She looks very comfortable in her role and being able to excel at the things she does well, which are most things. Her athleticism was among the best of the showcase and her composure allows her to power through bigger blockers. She's a six-rotation outside that's getting better in all phases of the game.
