The Class of 2027 was the most represented during Sunday's Michigan Stock Up Showcase in Pontiac.

It was a talented group, full of a lot of hungry players that wanted to leave a lasting impression.

We will be going through all the prospects throughout the week with a series of player evaluations.

Let's get things started with a collection of players in Part 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='454371' first='Riley' last='Loehfelm'], OH FH Northern/FaR Out

Loehfelm looks primed for a breakout fall season as she could emerge as one of the top hitters for the Huskies. The nearly 6-footer looked really impressive on Sunday. She plays longer than what she's listed because she's very agile and can use her wingspan to her advantage. At the net, she's a handful for anyone to contend with, but her defensive play and serving were at a high level on Sunday as well. With more reps coming her way, Loehfelm is about to put the state on notice.

[player_tooltip player_id='442992' first='Lucy' last='Goss'], OH Rochester Adams

Goss was a scrappy outside that worked hard, especially defensively. She did a lot of nice things on the floor to keep the ball alive during some heated scrimmage points. Goss put her body on the line and made accurate feeds to setters. She also put down some nice points herself when she got a clean look at the ball. Goss was also a very vocal and supportive player. She communicated well and encouraged all of her peers throughout the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='456251' first='Alexa' last='Turner'], S/RS SMCC/LevelUp

Turner is a nice combo player that is going to have an opportunity to shine in the upcoming years. In her setting, Turner plays a nice ball and seemed to have a nice groove going hitting the back pin on Sunday. There were some issues finding chemistry with the middles in the early going, but she took good feedback from the new hitters and found some strong connections as things progressed. As a hitter, Turner showed she has a smooth an effortless swing that can produce a lot of velocity.

[player_tooltip player_id='493481' first='Camille' last='Robinson'], OH/MH Harper Creek/Midwest Select

Robinson is making some nice waves as one of the stronger hitters in this class. She's very explosive off the floor and play well above the net. She showed the ability to high point the ball and come down with some sharp attack angles on Sunday. She didn't give some of her defensive peers much chance to dig up the ball. Speaking of defense, Robinson was very active in her blocking pursuits and she disrupted a lot of swings.

[player_tooltip player_id='442997' first='Morgan' last='Bates'], S/DS Stoney Creek/High Performance

Bates is coming off a good club season and she's showing a lot of confidence and command in her play on the court. She worked with a lot of different hitters on Sunday, but kept herself focused on adjusting to each one. Defensively, Bates showed a lot of scrappiness, as she was always trying to make a play. She put in a good effort with her blocking, but also scrambled to make some impressive digs as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='454375' first='Whitney' last='Swiercz'], OH Hudsonville/FaR Out

[player_tooltip player_id='454375' first='Whitney' last='Swiercz']

A 6-footer with a lot of promise, Swiercz has been able to get a lot of feedback on how to improve as a hitter through her family and the Hudsonville program. On Sunday, she showed a lot of consistency with her swing and delivery. She read the floor well and knew where the ball needed to go to finish as rally. She also picked up her intensity level to match her peers throughout the day.

Alexa Coble, MH/RS Canterbury/Empowered

A 6'1” prospect out of Indiana, Coble went toe-to-toe with a lot of big hitters on Sunday. Coble doesn't have the same spring off the floor as some of the others we saw, but she also doesn't need a lot of space or time to generate a powerful swing. Coble keeps it short and simple, but the ball can fly off her hand. She's also got a good sense for her timing on the block and got her hands on a lot of her peers' swings.

[player_tooltip player_id='467951' first='Rylee' last='Paddock'], DS/OH Jenison/FaR Out

Paddock is an impressive all-around athlete that can excel in either the back row or the front row. In her primary position, she's faced a lot of big hitters in her young career already, so she didn't look the slightest bit intimidated on Sunday. She stays in the pocket and takes on the big attacks with poise and control. Where she really looked impressive was in her ability to attack the net. Paddock has a lot of hang time and she could wait for the ball before uncorking a blast that drew some audible praise from her peers. Paddock looks like she can be put anywhere on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='460587' first='Bridget' last='Boughton'], S Lakeland/L2

Boughton put in a lot of effort on Sunday, as she left it all on the court to try and make every tough set she could. She got under some balls that didn't look possible to get to and still gave her hitters a chance to put them away. It wasn't always easy to find consistency while mixing in so many new hitters, but Boughton went with the flow and adapted well to the mixture of talent. She was able to push a good tempo during scrimmages and look comfortable in a hectic setting.
