<p><strong>Class 2 crowned a new champion in Fair Grove, and powerhouse Hermann finished 2nd in a nail-biter 5th set. Bishop Leblond defeated Arcadia Valley for a 3rd place finish. The 2027 class for Class 2 will be loaded again this season.</strong></p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='485567' first='Tandee' last='Hiser'] – 5'11" – Middle – Butler</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Tandee led Class 2 2027 players with 287 kills and returns after having a great summer. She is long and athletic and will become a dominating attacker for Butler. As a freshman, she led her team in kills, blocks, hitting percentage, and kills per set. She is a six-rotation middle who will also hit on either pin, but I think she is a monster middle in the making.</p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='485587' first='Jacie' last='Kassanavoid'] – 5'9" – Outside – Lathrop</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>After a freshman campaign that had her finishing 1st on her team in kills with 218 and 205 digs, she was one of the team's top passers. She will be relied on more this season with the graduation of three starters. From what I've heard, she's better at basketball, which is impressive.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='485624' first='Andrea' last='Dieckman'] – 6'1" – Middle – Cole Camp</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>After leading the state in blocks for 2027 Class 2 players with 92, Andrea's improvement in the offseason should make her a more prominent threat offensively. Her 147 kills from last year will almost double this season. She has the height and length to be a shutdown blocker and a terminating hitter.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='485603' first='Charlee' last='Pollard'] – 5'9" – Outside – Summit Christian Academy</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Charlee will be the top returning kill leader for the Eagles this year. She will provide SCA with a returning left pin, which should become a six-rotation contributor this season. An excellent vertical and length will give Charlee the advantage against the block, and once she gets her timing down, look out.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='485589' first='Grace' last='Lynch'] – 5'6" – Outside – West County</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The little sparkplug for the Bulldogs burst onto the scene and led her team in kills with 217, 4th with 219 digs, 2nd in assists with 236, and was one of her team's top passers. I know she will significantly contribute to whatever role she plays this year.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p><strong>Natalie Michelman – 5'5" – Libero – Whitfield</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Natalie filled a massive void for Whitfield last season by leading her team in digs with 263. A quick and fearless defender helped her team into the state playoffs.</p>
