Let's meet the winners!

Claire is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at The Woodlands High School and plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] The Woodlands club program. Miss Tidwell is a fierce competitor and showed it throughout both the individual drills and scrimmage portion of the event. Her offensive arsenal is vast and she is not afraid to swing away against any block. She has such a textbook picturesque approach when she attacks and a few of our coaches commented on it during the showcase. What stands out to me is how confident she is on the left side. There is no location or tempo that she is afraid of. If I were her coach or teammate, I would trust her ability to score in any situation and especially when the going gets tough. We will continue to keep our eye on her and you should as well because she is a very talented volleyball player. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.

[player_tooltip player_id='580007' first='Eden' last='Read'] [2025] 5-7 Outside/Setter (HS: Hudson/Club: Pineywoods VBC/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Eden is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Hudson High School in Lufkin and club for the Pineywoods volleyball program. I love when diamonds in the rough show up at our showcases that we don't know too well. It was very refreshing to see an unknown player from Texas showcase her skills to our staff and get on our radar. Her court coach mentioned that Eden was able to do many things well on the volleyball court. She is listed as both an outside hitter and a setter and showed that she is very capable of both. With soft hands and power to push the ball, Miss Read is valuable on the court to any squad she plays for. As an attacker, she has a great hand contact and possesses ball control to direct the rock to open locations on the court. As a defender, I would trust her back row abilities to dig the ball from any hitter. We will keep our eye on her senior season to see how she does. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='521480' first='Emersyn' last='Scheel'] [2027] 5-2 Setter/Defensive Specialist (HS: John Paul II/Club: San Antonio Chiefs/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Emersyn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at John Paul II High School and also for the San Antonio Chiefs volleyball club program. Miss Scheel did such a great job on her court and was nominated for this award for a few reasons. One of the main reasons that she was selected was because of her super soft hands and really fast release of the ball. I love how the ball shoots out of her hands to the pins. Setters like her can really speed up the tempo of her middles when running slides. The wrist action is what makes the ball shoot out so fast. The fact that she is able to jump set all locations will translate into being a great setter and also will create splits in the block for her pin hitters. What also makes her special is how athletic she is on defense. The way she is able to lunge out to both directions for hard driven attacks that land outside of her zone is awesome. We will keep out eye on her for sure. She definitely earned this award from her performance. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award for this showcase.
