We've released our new-and-improved college prep rankings for the class of '27. Now we dive a little deeper into what changed and what players we've got our eyes on moving forward this high school season. Here are the five biggest stock risers in the class of 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='494521' first='Shania' last='Rhamy'], 5-8 OH, Southwood

Honored as an All-American at AAUs this past summer, Shania's club team at Munciana finished third among the best of the best in 15 Open. A spitfire of a primary passing outside, Shania burst on to the scene last fall for Southwood, and doesn't look like she's going to slow down any time soon. She has a whip of an arm, a fiery competitiveness that is unmatched and has athleticism for days.

[player_tooltip player_id='482721' first='Paige' last='Rudolph'], 6-0 OH, Westfield

From the same club team last spring, Shania's fellow outside Paige also earned All-American honors in 15 Open at AAUs. A different player in many ways, Miss Rudolph embodies the body control of a primary passer while terminating at all angles high and hard regularly. Her size stands out immediately, but there are too many six-footers in central Indiana that play like new born giraffes. Paige is NOT one of them---in fact, I mistook her for being older than she actually is because of that athletic maturity.

[player_tooltip player_id='482446' first='Caroline' last='Hanchar'], 5-9 OH, Cathedral

Also capable of being a defender at the next level, Caroline is a lean and lithe attacker that saw a ton of time on varsity last fall for one of the blue blood programs in Indiana. Quick and smart, Miss Hanchar can be a six-rotation passer for anyone looking for that high volleyball IQ to add to their roster for the fall of '27. Through seven matches this season, Caroline is already north of 3 kps and 2 dps, while hitting well over .350 in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='471716' first='Nora' last='Breitwieser'], 5-6 DS/L, Jasper

Earning All-American honors in Florida in the 15 Club division for Metro, Nora is the libero for Jasper High School near Evansville. During club, she was a six-rotation attacker, which showed off her athleticism and ability to maximize every bit of her volleyball acuity into her post-season honors. Her future has her as a defender, and most likely a libero, at the next level, but it was fun watching her improve as the season went on despite her size.

[player_tooltip player_id='512267' first='Ava' last='Gould'], 5-11 RS, Hamilton Southeastern

Ava is a unique player in that she might be MORE effective as a lefty from the left pin. Her footwork dictated that to me, and after watching her live AND on video, it's plain to see that she can attack from anywhere (and not just because she's left-handed). Fully capable of receiving serve as well, Ava is working on the all-around game and, at her size, that skill would be a huge asset to her recruitment. With her length, work ethic and relentlessness, Miss Gould is building herself into the diamond-in-the-rough type of player that we pride ourselves on finding here at PrepDig.
