2024 Durango Fall Classic: Dominating The Moment!

At four locations, the spark has been fused &amp; the pin-pulling competition got underway fast. From court to court, we've scouted and watched an abundance of tremendously talented players display hustle, skill, teamwork and absolutely dominate at every moment. Her natural swing enables her to not only tool the block but to work down the line and this propels her team to erupt with hustle and a no-quit mindset. She challenges the defense in a variety of ways whether it's her service game, her transition, approach and dominating swing, but she is also a defensive presence at the net. This Senior establishes the tone for the Bulldogs of Centennial and is extremely assertive with confidence. Her ability to place every hitter in positions to score sets her apart. She is very savvy and hugely successful with a variety of dump sets, but here's the fun fact about Mae as a Setter... Mae currently ranks #5 in <strong>BLOCKING</strong>!!! With a total of 38 blocks as of Sept 22 posted by MaxPreps, this is a direct result of her amazing hustle and presence at the net defensively. Ruby came with big defensive blocks and key offensive kills during the Durango Fall Classic that kept the Mustangs in play as they competed. Ruby's leadership and communication on the court propels her team to transition into sound defense coverage that often results in offensive success. Her patience and understanding of defensive blockers enables her to display a trained skill with ball placement as she finds the open spots. Ella shows a brilliance on the court when she effectively avoids middle-defenders to score on a regular basis and when tasked with leading her defense, with efficient footwork and communication, she shows up at both pins and definitely detours the middle hitters with a powerful presence that is very intimidating. Her defensive coverage on blocked attempts along with communication to her liberos provides her team confidence in knowing each player will be there and play their part which often results in points or great defensive stops. It's no wonder why she is ranked in the Top 25 for kills by MaxPreps in the first half of competition. She communicates well and it is very noticeable that her team trusts and knows she's there to cover. During the Durango Fall Classic, Mia dominated her moment many times and continues to improve in every way. She sets a tone and drops dimes that result in astounding and powerful kills. Everyone who watches Aracelli work is often awed by the skills that are displayed. Bryli currently ranks in the top 10 with 99 kills according to MaxPreps and she has asserted her skill with confidence during the tournament.
