<p>The State Rankings update is here!!! We have added 20 new players to the rankings and a few dozen players to the Watch List in this update. Quite a few players went from being listed on the Watch List to being added to the Rankings List. We are so proud of each and every player who is listed. This series of articles is to introduce them to our readers and every college coach in the country. We have been watching the 2026 class very closely throughout the entire club season and now in the early part of the high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='445918' first='Marlee' last='Lightsey'] [2026] 6-0 Outside (HS: NB Canyon/Club: Alamo/Verbal: United States Military Academy at West Point)</strong></p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please officially welcome Miss Lightsey to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 61st best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for New Braunfels Canyon High School and also for the Alamo volleyball club. Recently she chose to verbally commit to playing and attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. There is no doubt that she will serve her country courageously and be a standout on their volleyball squad. As an attacker, Marlee is super powerful and has a very strong upper body. The way that she crunches her abs when she makes contact with the ball showcases that power well. She unleashes fury on every team that she goes up against. What also makes her special as an attacker is how she is able to score in a variety of ways. As far as footwork is concerned, I like her ability to run multiple routes out of serve receive and free ball play sets. Her heels hardly ever hit the floor during transition and that keeps her fast on the court. She is a very capable passer who helps to keep her team in system in serve receive. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='318566' first='Gabriela' last='Santiago'] [2026] 5-9 Outside (HS: Oak Ridge/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston']/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please officially welcome Miss Santiago to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 64th best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Oak Ridge High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] volleyball club. The word that best describes Gabriela is explosive. Everything she does on the court is super fast and explosive. Her springiness is showcased when she transitions and approaches to attack the ball. She can really move with great pace and it doesn't take much time for her to get off of the floor. This young lady can fly. Her awesome vertical is something for younger players to try to work towards with strong plyometric exercises. Many blockers have a tough time trying to time her jump because of her hang time in the air. Her back row play is just as exciting. She has the ability to use her athleticism in order to keep a lot of balls from hitting the floor. With quick feet, pushing off well, and fast reaction time, she is able to dig balls well outside of her normal range. We are proud to have this special young lady listed on our publication. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='269819' first='Madelynn' last='Coy'] [2026] 5-11 Outside (HS: George Ranch/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline']/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please welcome Miss Coy officially to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 67th best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for George Ranch High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] volleyball club. If we had a contest for most powerful attacker , Miss Coy would definitely be in the running for the title. This young lady packs a very explosive punch with her attack. After watching her in action all year long at big tournaments and also in our showcase this summer, it was a no brainer to have her listed. She truly earned her spot with amazing production and a great attitude on the court. Madelynn has gotten some high praise from her coaching staff and peers when we asked about her. When your team needs a point, she is definitely the one to go to. When matches seemed to get tight, Miss Coy had no fear in her and stepped up to the challenge. You would think that she would just be an offensive weapon and no more because of her immense power, but this talented young lady has plenty of game in the back row also. She is someone who can help a college roster, so be sure to give her a look or two and you would be disappointed. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas. </p>
