Week 3! There were some solid matches last week that caused some movement! The biggest match was number one St. Thomas Aquinas losing the championship match to preseason number one Blue Valley West.

1. Blue Valley West (10-1)

Back on top after knocking off previous unbeaten and number one St. Thomas Aquinas. They were winners of the competitive Mo-Kan tournament this past weekend. [player_tooltip player_id='480396' first='Peyton' last='Kubik'] and [player_tooltip player_id='173371' first='Ella' last='Davidson'] had 10 kills a piece in the final.

2. St. Thomas Aquinas (13-1)

The Saints drop one spot after losing to ten-win Blue Valley West. They also beat Liberty and Lee's Summit West in the Mo-Kan.

3. Mill Valley (11-2)

Mill Valley had an impressive win over previously 3rd-ranked Olathe West. [player_tooltip player_id='154038' first='Ella' last='Florez'] dished 27 assists in that win.

4. Blue Valley Southwest (11-2)

Southwest moves up some spots. They suffered one loss last week to number one Blue Valley West. [player_tooltip player_id='523631' first='Catlin' last='Shao'] had 23 assists in a win over Spring Hill.

5. St. James (13-2)

The Thunder moved to 13-2 this season and picked up a win over previously ranked Bishop MIege.

6. Olathe West (15-3)

West suffered their lone defeat last week to Mill Valley and slid down to the 6th spot.

7. Belton (15-0)

Belton makes the biggest jump as they stay undefeated with 15 wins to start the season. They had what I deemed their first real test of the year and knocked down Park Hill South. [player_tooltip player_id='222056' first='Bella' last='Scherfenberg'] had 29 kills in the epic match.

8. Liberty (14-3)

Liberty is back in the top ten after some impressive wins last week. They beat Blue Valley North and had other good wins in the Mo-Kan tournament.

9. Blue Valley North (10-5)

The Mustangs had a rough weekend picking up four losses in the Mo-Kan tournament. Those losses weren't to just anyone though losing to our number one, four, and eight teams.

10. Park Hill South (18-6)

South picked up a couple of losses but like North above, games to quality teams. They lost to unbeaten Belton and defending state champion Lafayette. [player_tooltip player_id='219763' first='Peyton' last='Liming'] had 20 kills in the loss to Belton.

11. Liberty North (10-4)

The Eagles had a showdown with rival Liberty that went five sets before they were dropped in a tight contest. [player_tooltip player_id='219774' first='McKenna' last='Jacquin'] had 16 kills in defeat. They also lost to number one Blue Valley West.

12. St. Michael The Archangel (9-3)

St. Michael stayed steady with a couple of wins.

13. Lee's Sumit West (10-6)

West is back in the rankings after a tough start to the year. They picked up some quality wins in the Mo-Kan tournament showing they may be catching their stride.

14. Blue Valley Northwest (7-4)

There were two teams I was looking at in this spot with similar records but a loss to Aquinas is better in my eyes.

15. Truman (9-1)

Our new team in the rankings is Truman. They are 9-1 with the loss coming to Belton. They also have a couple of wins over Platte County.

Others knocking: Olathe South, Shawnee Mission Northwest, Park Hill
