The Anderson Raptors (9-3 overall, 8-2 conference) did that in the 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-23) to salvage a split in the season series between the two. Anderson senior [player_tooltip player_id='176098' first='Grace' last='Crider'] along with Loveland senior [player_tooltip player_id='502470' first='Abby' last='Dorn'] and [player_tooltip player_id='227616' first='Josie' last='Nichols'] came into the game ranked third through fifth in the league in kills and all three put up double figure kill numbers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The young liberos wearing number 2 had nice games for both teams in Anderson sophomore Karly Otto and Loveland freshman [player_tooltip player_id='621391' first='Ella' last='George']. Then the junior setters in Anderson junior [player_tooltip player_id='502377' first='Rylie' last='Ritter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='227619' first='Makenna' last='Kirlin'] tried to make the right reads in balanced offenses. That led to some long rallies that went both ways. Josie Griesser had a nice game offensively and defensively for the Raptors.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first game stayed tight before the Raptors scored the final four points to win it. Tied at 22, the Raptors scored three straight to end the game and go up 2-0. Griesser started the run with a kill and Lucy Redmond ended it with a block.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Loveland came out fighting in the third set hoping to extend the game. They cut the Loveland lead to 19-18 before Dorn had two blocks to extend it back to three at 21-18.
