She came into her senior season with 610 kills, 883 digs and 59.0 blocks. Wright stands out for her athleticism, which guides her when swinging or getting the ball up from all around the court. She's a quick-twitch athlete with reflexes to hold down the back row. That's her likely role at Colorado Mesa University. Her explosiveness off of the floor and volleyball instincts make her Hempstead's best hitter, and her helping there in college shouldn't be ruled out.
