[player_tooltip player_id='152049' first='Kayla' last='Channell'] - 2025 | Gilmour Academy (54% of the vote)
Gilmour Academy, 6-1 overall in 2024, is one of the best and most consistently competitive teams in all of Ohio across all divisions. They have great talent and don't shy away from playing a very tough schedule. The 6'2 Channell has been part of many wins for the Lancers as a key factor on both sides of the ball for several seasons. The Coastal Carolina commit has career averages of 2.4 k/s, 2.4 b/m, while hitting at a .438 efficiency in 2024.

A factor in the Lions' 2022 Division I state title run, she is averaging 3.5 k/s and is currently top-10 in blocking in the GGCL. She is athletic and physical in the middle and is now part of a senior veteran core of prospects hoping to take this team deep into the postseason now part of DIII following the OHSAA division restructuring.
[player_tooltip player_id='151983' first='Raegan' last='Waller'] - 2025 | Roger Bacon (14% of the vote)
The 6'1 Waller made the move to Roger Bacon entering her junior season. Now a senior, she is part of an upperclass quartet that should provide the bulk of their point scoring and leadership. The East Tennessee State commit is averaging 1.7 k/s at a .500 efficiency and 61% kill rate to start the season. Her impact will be more significant as the season goes forward, which is a product of the gains she made over the club season as she has improved the quality of her movement and arm at the top of her jump.
