She has certainly done that. She's leading all juniors in kills with 624 while hitting .303. She opened the season with 16 straight matches with double-digit kills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226886' first='Gabby' last='DiVita'], GP South OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>DiVita has been one of the best finishers in the state since she was a freshman. This year she had 400 kills and is hitting over .400. She shows the full arsenal of shots and speeds to keep any defense confused. Her last two matches have seen her record 63 kills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'], Bloomfield Hills MH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most explosive players in the country, the Harvard commit has been putting the ball down at a high rate in 2024. She's got 391 kills on the season, and is nearing 1,400 for her career. She's had double-digit kills in 14 of her last 15 matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='732290' first='Abigail' last='Hoag'], Eaton Rapids OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hoag has set a career-high in kills already in 2024 with 372. She's also improved her finishing rate. Hoag has put up double-digit kills in six of her last seven matches. She's also hit over .300 in three of those matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226900' first='Liv' last='Hosford'], Rockford OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hosford has been one of the lead arms for Rockford since she was a freshman. She's been consistent with her production, as she's nearing 1,300 kills in her career. This season, Hosford is up to 363 kills while hitting nearly .300.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226882' first='Karis' last='Chatfield'], Jenison OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chatfield has gotten better each year and is up to 315 kills on the season while hitting a career-best .268. Chatfield is approaching 1,200-career kills as well. Over her last two matches, Chatfield has recorded 43 kills over nine sets of play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ella McMillan, Croswell-Lexington OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McMillan has taken on a bigger role for Lexington this fall and she's enduring in that spot. She's got 317 kills on the season, nearly triple her total as a sophomore. McMillan has reached double figures in kills in three of her last four outings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226896' first='Madison' last='Geer'], Frankenmuth OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Geer is getting her chance to be the primary arm in the Frankenmuth offense this fall and she plays with a lot of intensity and energy. Geer is up to 303 kills on the season. The junior is able to finish from anywhere at the net and in the back row.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'], Lake Fenton OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ferrill is a 6'1” combo player that is able to impact the game in many ways. As a hitter, Ferrill has 288 kills in the 2024 season. She's hitting just under .300 in the process. Ferrill has had some of her best games as of late, including an 18-kill performance in a sweep of Dow, where she hit .515.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='243338' first='Addison' last='Dunning'], Davison OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dunning is a go-to option for Davison, going up against some tough competition. This fall, Dunning has put down 287 kills. She has recorded double-digit kills in five of her last six matches. In her last outing, she had 13 kills and hit .478 in a sweep of Bay City Central.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
