Turpin lost a tough five-set conference battle earlier this week to Lebanon but Steele was the top offensive performer in that contest at 24 total kills on a respectable .340 efficiency, outperforming the league's offensive leader on the other side of the net. She is currently among the top four offensively in the ECC as Turpin gets set to next take on the defending state champs in Kings. Just a sophomore, the 5'11 pin terminated a career high 28 kills as she earned those points at 53% rate. She is averaging over five kills per set, a big jump from a solid freshman season in 2023. At 16-5 overall, Edgewood is unbeaten in conference play in large part due to Vencill's point scoring ability. She is an aggressive attacker at the top of her jump and can produce good heat upon contact.
