Superb Sophomore Scorers Vol 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Who is proving on the court that they are the best of the best in their position?  Some say that numbers do not lie and we have the numbers that are being reported by coaches across the state.  California is one of the best states in the nation when it comes to this wonderful sport and we are here to highlight all of our amazing players.  Let's meet a few of the players who are killing it on the court!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Korynn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that will change very soon when I update the list in a few weeks.  She plays for Marina High School and also plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='515277' first='United' last='Volleyball Club'] program.  I was introduced to Miss Mayo during her freshman campaign and was blown away by her raw natural power.  After watching her in action during the club season, I have been very intrigued to see how she would fare for her second high school season and boy am I impressed.  She has gotten even better and stronger this year.  Currently she is sitting at 417 kills on a very impressive .262 hitting percentage.  She has dwarfed her kill total from all of last season and there is still more season to complete.  Regularly scoring in double figures, Korynn is not afraid of the spotlight and loves to compete at the highest level possible.  I love how she pounds the ball with uncanny natural power and then scares the defense with her next off-speed shots.  The defensive players have to dig in the heels to the ground as they expect a hard driven swing from her and she makes them pay with timely tips right over the block.  Opposing defensive players cannot get their weight transitioned forward fast enough to make a play and the ball lands for more kills.  While a lot of players have to take long approaches in order to create momentum and power in their swing, Korynn is able to generate tons of power jumping straight up sometimes and this speaks volumes about just how strong she actually is.  Stay tuned for more from this juggernaut as according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays at Woodcrest Christian High School and also plays for the Forza1 volleyball club.  Miss Pool is the second leading scorer amongst all sophomores on varsity.  She has tallied 369 kills on a super impressive .310 hitting percentage so far this year.  The best part about her play is how she scores from a variety of locations on the court.  You can see her light up the stat book from the left side, right side, middle if need be, and also from the back row.  There is never a time where she isn't ready to swing away for her squad.  She has a laser focus on timing her attack and knows when to slow down or speed up to catch up to the ball and contact it perfectly with her down swing.  Her lengthy frame allows her to take more risks than smaller players and still be able to get the ball over the net.  The versatility that she provides her coaches will translate very well into the collegiate game in a few years and the best part about that is she has time to grow and get stronger before that happens.  This should really scare the opposition because she is already super talented.  We will keep our eye on her and you --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Ireland is currently ranked as the 2^nd best overall prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for Santa Margarita High School and plays club for the WAVE Volleyball program.  Miss Real currently has the fourth most kills amongst all sophomore attackers with 361 total.  She has already doubled her kill total from her freshman season on varsity.  All coaches across the country will mention that you can't teach height and Ireland has a lot of it.  A lot of taller players don't really have a great vertical, but that is what makes her stand out.  She is part of the famed ten-foot club, meaning that she touches over ten feet high in the air during her approach jump.  In fact, she actually is able to touch 10'3” and is not done getting stronger.  If you have seen a lot of volleyball like I have, you will usually see taller players not be able to move very fast on the court and they usually lack explosiveness.  Ireland is totally different.  This young lady has super explosive speed and lightning quick reflexes, which set her apart.  This young lady is a can't miss recruit and will battle everyone in her grad class for player of the year.  A true kill artist, Miss Real is not one to mess with and opposing coaches better track her in every serve receive rotation so they can set their defense to slow her down.  We are very proud to cover her and will enjoy watching her score on everyone. </p> <!--
