7 Athletes that Exploded onto my Radar at State

My notes app fills up very quickly throughout the tournament, and it usually takes me a day to sift through all of it. She was relentless on offense and had 24 kills in the championship match alone. Her consistent power and placement were tough to do in such a high-pressure moment, but she delivered repeatedly. Her fire on the court was contagious and she was able to keep her team motivated. She was a competitive server and was able to stay behind the service line for multiple points in a row. She stepped up for her team in a big way, leading the team in kills, helping secure a state title in her senior season. Her clean, high level of play is what caught my eye. She never missed a beat on the court and was always ready to run down balls. Setters running a 5-1 have a really tough job and she handled wit with maturity and focus. She was gritty on the court and was a huge playmaker for her team. She played all six rotations and was relentless on the court. She was a powerhouse hitter in both the front and back row and was fearless on defense. More often than not, she reaps the reward of taking the high-risk swing. She played all 6 rotations and was incredibly scrappy throughout their state match.
