The Class of 2027 was heavily represented at the Michigan Top 250 Expo this past Sunday in Pontiac.

About half of the total participants came from this class.

Here's a look at the sixth and final part of our 2027 prospect evaluations.

[player_tooltip player_id='470701' first='Zoey' last='Kapeller'], DS/L OLSM/High Performance

A long defender at 5'11”, Kapeller uses that added size and length to her advantage. She covers a lot of space, but still is able to get low to the ground to make accurate feeds to her setter. She's also someone that can take on an aggressive back row attack. Kapeller's communication is also at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='725218' first='Violet' last='Brown'], OH Heritage/Five:1

Brown brought an aggressive approach to the floor. She knew she had to play with high intensity to standout and she did that. I liked the way she attacked the ball, both offensively and defensively. She put her all into her passing and serve receive, but also tried to make the most out of each swing.

Catherine Kuchta, DS/L Mercy/High Performance

Kuchta is an impressive athlete that uses her abilities to excel defensively. She's got quick feet and is able to make a difficult dig look easy through good body control. She also was able to put up consistently challenging serves.

Sophie Perkins, MH North Farmington/High Performance

Perkins brought a lot of positive energy to the court. Not only did she put forth a good effort in every rep, but she was very encouraging to her peers. Perkins really shined with her blocking efforts. She timed things out well and was relentless with her ability to keep making attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='536393' first='Berklee' last='Stimson'], S Davison/Five:1

Stimson had a really nice touch on her sets. She was able to put good loft on her feeds and consistently hit her spots on the pins to give her hitters a chance to unload on the ball. Stimson also showed a lot of awareness with her defensive play.

[player_tooltip player_id='454364' first='Maiya' last='Heinemann'], OH Saline/L2

Heinemann showed a well-balanced game, as she performed at a high level offensively and defensively. Her serve receive was consistent and accurate, and she transitioned quickly to her offensive role. Her hang time is impressive, which allowed her to put a wide array of shots on display.

[player_tooltip player_id='514753' first='Kyleigh' last='Peacock'], MH Troy/High Performance

Peacock was an eager player that was trying to do her all to make a play. Sometimes she was a little too aggressive, but it came from a good place. Peacock has the footwork and athleticism to keep improving, and as she develops her timing and patience, it will lead to her becoming a solid middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='726251' first='Vivian' last='Walker'], DS/L Cass Tech/Michigan Elite

Walker kept her eyes locked into each play and it led to her doing a good job of anticipating where the ball was heading. Walker also had a great work ethic. She threw her body around the floor and was eager to get as many reps as she could.

[player_tooltip player_id='727964' first='Ellie' last='Titsworth'], OH/DS Davison/Five:1

Titsworth stayed light on her feet. She wasn't caught standing in the same place for more than a brief moment. Her footwork was good and she showed a lot of passion to make a big play. As she continues to improve on her timing and composure, it should add new dimensions to her game.
