We are now underway with our awesome series of showcases across the country. Up next was our Dallas Top 250 Expo at the [program_tooltip program_id='431142' first='Excel' last='Volleyball'] Club practice facility in Carrollton, TX. This series of articles is to highlight those players who earned an award from our court coaches and scouts that were in attendance. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. Without further ado, here are a few players who were named Most Valuable Players and Top Performers at the showcase.

Gracie is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. There is not a question of if she will be ranked, but rather where I will place her. She plays volleyball at Plano West High School and club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] volleyball program. This young juggernaut has been written about by us a few times and here is a reminder of what we stated prior to the event, ”Miss White attended our freshman showcase back in July and showed out to everyone in attendance. She was one of the Top Performers of the entire session with her stellar play at the net. The physicality that she is able to bring the position at this young age is really telling about her ceiling to improve. The sky is the limit if you ask me. Her court coaches and I agree that she is not only a monster volleyball player, but has such a nice attitude as well. As a blocker, the length in her six foot three frame is matched by great timing and excellent blocking technique. Her lateral movement is pretty fast to close the block at the pins. I can't wait to see in person how much she has improved after her freshman season on varsity.” I was thoroughly impressed with a lot of what I saw from her. She is looking super strong in her first step toward the pins while blocking and also in her first step toward the setter during her approach. One year of varsity volleyball and growing more into her frame should have her opponents afraid of what is to come. If you thought she was good last year, this year you will see more power when she battles at the net. All of our court coaches agreed that she was one of the best players in attendance. You could see that her court vision is getting so much better and she is moving faster and earlier toward the correct attackers before they are getting set. She is able to read the play before it happens and if is from gaining all of the experience from this past high school season. Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo.

Maya is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. This young lady has exactly what it takes to be labeled as not only the number one player in the state of Texas, but potentially in the entire nation. She plays volleyball at Allen High School and also plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] volleyball program. Here is a little reminder of what we just wrote about her prior to the event, “This young lady is super explosive at every aspect of the game and has every college coach already drooling over what she will accomplish on the court during her volleyball career. We have been watching her develop over the years and finally get to cover her more extensively now that she is in high school. She has already established herself as one of the premier players in her grad class and we cannot wait to see how she fares against some of the top competition that is already signed up. Our court coaches, scouts, and college coaches who will be viewing via BallerTV will be thoroughly impressed with her physical skill set just as I have been all of last year.” Every spectator in attendance was in awe of what they saw from her during the entire two hours. Not only is she athletically gifted, but she seems to process the game faster than everyone else on the court. When I watched her play the outside position over the two hours, I saw poetry in motion. That is the best way I can describe Maya with or without the ball. Her movements are picturesque and exactly what you would want to show a novice volleyball player when they are trying to see how to play the game correctly. We are going to enjoy covering her team this year. In the meantime, please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo.

Dakota is currently ranked as the 4th best overall prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Plano East High School and club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] volleyball program. Miss Huynh is a prototypical libero who can control the ball in every aspect of the game. Her serves are laser beams that can stifle opposing serve receivers. They are very low to the tape and that makes it very difficult for passers to judge their trajectory and it hurts their depth perception while trying to pass the ball. As far as defense is concerned, she has the discipline to keep her shoulders low to the ground while moving to the ball and while making contact. Her arms have to have ball magnets in them because she was always in the perfect position to pass/dig the ball. In all seriousness, I attribute that to amazing court vision and awareness in playing the libero position. She was hands down the best libero in the gym on Saturday. Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo.
