We decided to follow the 15s division and, with just six teams competing, were able to take a good look at some of the teams of the always-competitive Skyline Volleyball Club franchise that were in action. We're now taking the week to feature some of the most promising players who were on the court and now it's time we recognize the most impactful liberos on the court:

Pipes' backcourt production was critical to her [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] 15 Royal team finishing at the top of the standings with three victories. Extremely efficient and consistent, the libero led the team's serve-receive system, covering a lot of ground and delivering accurate passes. Pipes also impressed with her body control, being able to stretch her body in unconventional ways to get digs. The libero also did a good job when asked to set in transition plays, delivering nice balls to her hitters.

Rendon's TW Skyline 15 Royal team was the second-best in the event, ending the day with two wins and one loss. Alternating between libero and defensive specialist, she gave the team a lot of stability with her strong play on the backcourt. She did a great job of communicating with her teammates and efficiently handled a sizeable share of the court in serve-receive. Also very active on defense, Rendon made a big impact from the service line, getting several aces and generating many free balls to her team with the tough floater.

Deady finished fifth with her TW Skyline 15 Black team that completed their schedule with one win and two losses. A very technical libero, she was extremely reliable for her team on the backcourt. Deady was very good at her two main tasks, remaining reliable and consistent with her passing and getting several touches on defense. The libero also contributed from the service line, causing damage to opponents with her serves.

Johnson's team BCS Skyline 15 Black sat at the bottom of the standings, with three defeats. She still managed to stand out and performed some of the most impressive digs of the day. Very agile, Johnson displayed tremendous ball control to keep some hard-driven swings in play. The libero also performed well in serve-receive and was very precise with her transition sets when she had to step up for it.
