Productive right sides at FAST Warm-Up 16 Open division

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The highly-anticipated club volleyball season has arrived in Texas as, since the start of December, club teams all over the Lone Star State have been in action, competing in the first of the many tournaments they will be at over the next six months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last weekend, one of the most traditional and competitive events annually held in the Houston area took place, the Fast Warm-Up. Playing a dual-role as a setter and right side hitter, she used her amazing technical skills to make a difference for her team. Garcia used her size very well on offense but what made of her an elite scorer was her vision and her ability to send her swings into perfect spots. She played a few different roles for them throughout the day, but was probably at her best when used on the right. An elite blocker, Scranton brought a strong presence at the net every time she was subbed in, strengthening the team's defensive system. The left-handed hitter was one of the team's main offensive weapons, getting off the floor very well and using her quick arm to score point. Nelson was very productive when hitting a quick set on the right, but made the most of her athleticism and length when she found two blockers standing in her way. She wasn't a starter for them, but showed interesting potential coming off the bench on the double dub. A lefty, Farinez used her length very well on offense, making contact with the ball at a very high point and making the most of her range to score points. She also displayed interesting body control, adjusting well to imperfect sets and still being able to swing hard. She was one of the team's main offensive weapons, displaying solid tools to put the ball down and performing with great consistency throughout the day. Kerman has a lot of firepower on her left arm, but also manages to find nice angles to beat blockers and defenders.
