Moore patrols the back row with unmatched determination. Moore goes after balls with every fiber of her body, doing whatever she can to keep plays alive. Moore sacrifices her body a number of times each game to make highlight reel play after play. Moore extends her arms when necessary to pop up balls to teammates to hit over the net. Boyd County head coach Jamie Clark said Moore is the ultimate team player, noting she gives so much effort that she's spent physically and mentally after each game. Clark also said she needs to stop doubting herself as much as she does, but her teammates look up to her on and off the court. Moore had 541 digs this past season, helping the Lions make it back to the 16th Region championship and earning the Miss Boyd County Volleyball honor. Moore has played on varsity since her freshman year. She played a big role in helping Boyd County to a third straight 16th Region crown and elite eight finish in the state tournament as a sophomore.

Powell (pictured) has been one of the top hitters in the 16th Region, leading the Musketeers in kills the past two seasons. Powell dominates the net well, but has shown the ability to make plays all over the court. She is not afraid to dive away from the net to make big saves on soft balls in the middle of the court. Powell consistently finds different ways to put balls down and has outstanding timing on blocks. She has a quick spike and throw at the net. Powell adds in a nice line drive serve. Powell had 377 kills, 77 solo blocks, 17 assisted blocks and 76 aces, helping Greenup County go 20-11 this past season.

King is real smooth running the libero position, thus controlling the back row. She does a great job reading hitters then squaring her arms up to balls to make solid passes. King constantly dives after balls near her to keep plays alive. She does not stop until the ball hits the ground or the whistle blows. She'll make one big pass then follow it up with another one a matter of seconds later. King finished the season with 423 digs to lead the Rockets.

Clark constantly shuffles her feet all over the court to make plays defensively and setting up the hitters. Clark puts sets on the button consistently and does a great job covering hitters at the net. Clark's vocal leadership is valuable to the team. Clark had 278 assists and 222 digs for the Cardinals this past fall.

Hicks has great form on her swings. Hicks can hit short and long sets to different parts of the court including shoves to the lines and tips to the middle. Hicks shows mental toughness on the court. If the first spike attempt does not go down, Hicks quickly readjusts then puts the next one down. Hicks also does a great job with timing on her blocks to control the net. Hicks had 265 kills, 48 solo and 16 assisted blocks helping the Comets into the 16th Region Tournament.
