Catching Up On Commits - Class of 2026

College coaches are ready to get back on the club courts with the live recruiting period for all levels starting on January 16 (years prior it was Presidents Day Weekend).  We have made some updates to our Class of 2026 database with athletes who have given their verbal commit since the beginning of the fall.  Here are some athletes who have made their verbal to the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='388468' first='Hannah' last='Mlsna'] is a physical middle blocker who preps at Madison Memorial and has played for Sting United, but will be heading to Madtown 17-1 National this season. Her hand contact and power is elite where she finds a way to hit the ball square every time. Along with her power, she has a blend of finesse where she can find the open spot with a tip or can send it to the deep corner. She continues the Wisconsin pipeline to South Dakota State who is coming off a historic season, advancing to the NCAA Tournament. They have Summit League Player of the year Sylvie Zgonc out of Sussex Hamilton and Alia Schlimgen out of Sauk Prairie.       Ella Koenen has always been a swiss army knife type player where she can set and attack. This past high school season, she was one of the top setters from the junior class, leading Slinger to the sectional final. She will take her talents to Illinois State, who is on the rise in the Missouri Valley Conference, always playing a rugged non-conference schedule as well. They have Wisconsin natives in Aida Shadewald (Sauk Prairie) and Olivia Baierl (Howards Grove).       [player_tooltip player_id='277424' first='Siena' last='MacCudden'] was a gamechanger this summer for MKE Sting 16 Gold which carried into her junior year at Arrowhead. From serve receive, picking up the tips and offspeed, to digging some of the top attackers in the state, she was one of two liberos named D1 1st Team All State. She will head to the West, where she has committed to play for Cal-Berkeley, racking up the flyer miles playing in the ACC. She still has another season (at least) with Sting 17 Gold and a strong Arrowhead team who returns plenty of offensive weapons.       South Dakota State picks up another Wisconsin outside hitter who brings plenty of firepower. The Jackrabbits currently have Summit League Player of the Year Sylvie Zgonc out of Sussex Hamilton. They also have Sauk Prairie connections with Alia Schlimgen being a junior DS/libero on the team. Hartwig will suit up for [program_tooltip program_id='486375' first='Sting' last='United 17 Red'] where they have plenty of top tier talent that includes Wichita State commit [player_tooltip player_id='249623' first='Addie' last='Oeth'] and middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='504441' first='Kayla' last='Landerud'] going to UW-Milwaukee.       [player_tooltip player_id='277427' first='Claire' last='Wyma'] is going South where she has committed to North Alabama. North Alabama is part of the Atlantic Sun Conference where they finished sixth in the conference, qualifying for their conference tournament. Wyma has been a highly efficient right side attacker where she can score points on both pins and provides a solid block. She will play for MKE Sting 17 Black where there are plenty of available next level athletes from the Class of 2026.       [player_tooltip player_id='277433' first='Sydnee' last='Nelson'] had quite the 2024 where she was a 100 meter hurdle state champion for Oshkosh West and finished up with a commitment to Belmont. What is unique about Nelson's game is her leaping ability. She is a high flying outside hitter who can score points from the front and backrow. She had a huge high school season for Oshkosh West where they won a regional title. She will play for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 18 Elite this club season.
