Dynamic middles are crucial players to a team, often the most fun to watch, and for some reason are many times the hardest to find. For those that think height is the only requirement to being an effective middle, they are greatly mistaken. While being tall is definitely adventitious, it is a middle's speed, strength, endurance, footwork, and the ability to read the play that make them great. Being a middle is hard work and these class of 2028 middles are some of the hardest working players around.

This girl is crazy good. She is tall, strong, athletic, skilled, and just an overall dynamic attacker. She is listed as middle, but trust me, she is often seen attacking from the pins and the backcourt which are all just as captivating as when she hits out of the middle. At Park of Cottage Grove where she preps, not only did she account for over a third of the teams kill count and the majority of their blocks, but she also was near the top of the leaderboard in digs. Simply, a phenomenal player that we are all going to have fun watching for years to come.

Meyers made a significant contribution to the [program_tooltip program_id='430361' first='Cannon' last='Falls'] varsity this year where she was third in the team in kills and had an outstanding .375 hitting percentage. You usually don't see that high of a hitting percentage in young players. Meyers is quick, has a great vertical, and is super smart about attacking. She uses her quickness, combined with good footwork, to put up a solid block also. Meyers is headed to [program_tooltip program_id='429180' first='Southern' last='Minnesota Volleyball'] this club season where she is bound to showcase those skills.

Allen is a fantastic middle to watch. She is strong, quick, and has a heavy arm that can put down an array of shots. Opposing teams better be especially careful when she is in the front row as she plays and reads the net extremely well. She makes team suffer greatly on overpasses. Neysa is also an excellent blocker. At Maple Grove where she preps, Allen averaged 1.4 kills/set but also contributed to 69 blocks on the season.

Ressler is another one of those versatile middles that can really hit anywhere on the court. She is quick, has a strong vertical, and a dynamic arm. She also has really good blocking abilities. She uses her speed, combined with her ability to read the play, to stop opponents from scoring time and time again. Ressler will be fun to watch this year as she gets excellent exposure playing up with the 16s.

Scheevel plays for Fillmore Central which is an extremely small school in Southeastern Minnesota. Standing at 6'0”, Scheevel got her feet submersed into high level competition at Fillmore Central as they made their way to the Class A State Tournament. Scheevel is a powerful attacker with a heavy arm. She reads the opposing team's block well and makes adjustments in her attack.
