Mesa is especially excited to showcase her back-row skills, an area she has worked on consistently through both her high school and club seasons. Her goal for the tournament is to show that Northern Lights is a different team than last year, one that is competitive and not an easy out. Her advice is straightforward and athlete-centered, focusing on healthy nutrition, hydration, strong sportsmanship, and getting plenty of sleep to be ready for game day.

Violent arm swing. Mesa Jameson for Northern Lights is a right side that has plenty of highlights where she is potentially hurting someone. She hits a real heavy ball. She can go line or hard cross while being able to put up a big block as well. In her match against Kairos on day three, she came up big time and time again. Her physicality is different and it will be fun to see her all around game expand as she gives me Stephanie Samedy vibes who had quite a career at Minnesota.

Something exciting is about to happen when Mesa Jameson jumps.  The 6’3 right side hitter brings a lot of physicality and athleticism where when she makes hand contact with the ball – it just sounds different.  She is going to create chaos on the other side of the court where they will have a difficult time playing the ball cleanly.  Her presence is known to opponents who have to think twice when going head to head with her block.  Offensively, she can score points at a high volume, such an exciting player.

This girl is crazy good. She is tall, strong, athletic, skilled, and just an overall dynamic attacker. She is listed as middle, but trust me, she is often seen attacking from the pins and the backcourt which are all just as captivating as when she hits out of the middle. At Park of Cottage Grove where she preps, not only did she account for over a third of the teams kill count and the majority of their blocks, but she also was near the top of the leaderboard in digs. Simply, a phenomenal player that we are all going to have fun watching for years to come.
