Michigan is known for having some great club volleyball programs.

However, this time of year it is easy for some of the top clubs to dominate the headlines.

That doesn't mean there aren't plenty of other players from the state making waves with their respective clubs.

Here's five 2026 hitters that are doing their part to give their club more recognition.

[player_tooltip player_id='446691' first='Taliyah' last='Hanks'], MH Dead Frog

Hanks is garnering a lot of attention for her explosive play and she's definitely helping bring some more notoriety to Dead Frog volleyball in the 2025 club season. Already a commit to USC, Hanks is agile as it gets at the net. Already with great length and movement, she puts the ball away with ease and definitely has established herself as one of the top overall finishers in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='478074' first='Sarah' last='Pippin'], OH NIVA

An Edwardsburg native, Pippin takes her club season play over to Indiana where she's one of the featured arms for NIVA 17 Purple. Pippin has a picturesque swing that looks like she can loop it on repeat throughout a match. She's got a great approach to the net and is consistently racking up double-digit kills in the early stages of the club season. No opponents have been able to lock her up thus far.

[player_tooltip player_id='553159' first='Mya' last='Hemmer'], MH [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite']

One of the prize hitters in the Upper Peninsula, Hemmer plays her club ball in Wisconsin, playing up an age level for FC 18 Elite. Hemmer looks very comfortable in the upper age bracket. She really springs off the floor to play above her opposition. She's a dual-sport athlete, which shows in her footwork and timing. Hemmer covers a lot of ground with her blocking and can come over the top of the ball with a lot of explosion.

[player_tooltip player_id='726472' first='Emma' last='Eldred'], OH High Street

Eldred is coming off a great high school season with Tecumseh and now she's been doing some great things with High Street 17-Skelton this club season. The smaller Michigan club is off to a 16-2 start to its 2025 campaign and the overall play of Eldred is a big reason why. She makes great decisions with her defensive play and her attacking. She's aggressive, but in control and is willing to do what is needed to help her team win.

[player_tooltip player_id='243338' first='Addison' last='Dunning'], OH Five:1

Dunning is a well-rounded player that brings a lot of strengths to Five:1 17 Black. She's as good defensively as she is with her offense. She has good awareness to know what she needs to do with her shot selection to finish points. Dunning also translates quickly to from offense to defense and back. She plays instinctively and isn't having to waste time thinking about what she needs to do, she just does it.
