Five Stunners At The Early Bird Shootout 17/18 Division

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Club season has started in earnest here in Central Indiana, and Circle City hosts the annual Early Bird Shootout at multiple locations in all age groups 11 through 18 inclusive. Capitol Sports Center, the home of Circle City, hosted the top pools in the one-day shootout, and I got the privilege of watching a ton of exceptional talent, both committed and uncommitted, play at a high level yesterday. Front row, back row, defense, serve receive---Mya was everywhere for her squad, and had to be considering the level of talent they played Sunday. On a tough play day for her team, Kyla kept things competitive with her constant and consistent work ethic and effort, and located a ton of balls right where they needed to be to score points. That being said, Miss Barber is still the point-scoring machine on the left pin that is much needed at any NCAA level. Haiden is just as capable of terminating plays with her shoulder as she is picking the right person to set in the right situation, and was just that all day yesterday for her squad. Delaney's move from Academy to Circle completes the roster for the top squad in purple, and has that "it" factor on the offensive end. Explosive and terminal all day long, Miss Steers has that compact power that makes her appear bigger than she is, while regularly blowing up undisciplined blocks from both the front row and back row. Northern Illinois immediately upgrades their outside hitting group with the addition of Delaney next fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
