NEW 2028 Rankings – Top Ten Breakdown

Until now, we've only had a watchlist featuring players we've noticed through last year's club season or at a Prep Dig event. This freshman was one of the top players in the state this season, earning all-conference honors. Her elite passing, serving, and hitting make her a force on the court. Capable of playing all six rotations at a high level, she's an instant standout in any match. The freshman is a standout setter, but she's also one of the best hitters in the state, with incredible power and an outstanding volleyball IQ. The 5A state champion's back-row passing is also top-notch. When she goes up to swing, you know that power and great ball placement are coming right behind it. She is already standing at nearly 6'0" and gained experience playing varsity with 5A state runner-up Coronado in the postseason. She is a standout not only in her class, but her skill set is also way ahead of her time. Pulcini was a standout for Green Valley Christian School, playing a pivotal role in their 2A state title victory. She recorded triple-digit kills, triple-digit digs, and nearly 70 aces. As a setter, she has exceptional form and decision-making, but her attacking is just as impressive. Every time she hits, she brings serious power and precision. At 6'0" in just ninth grade, she uses every inch of her height to her advantage. With a background in beach volleyball, her constant movement on the court shows her readiness to be in the play at all times. The 6'4" freshman doesn't play middle, as you might expect given her height; instead, she plays outside, which has proven to be a sweet spot for her thus far. She racked up 708 assists, which was the sixth-best in Nevada, helping her team finish 8-2 in the regular season. In addition to executing sets, she also took her back-row defense seriously, amassing nearly 150 digs and dishing out an impressive 70 aces. Not only does she have the height, but she also has a natural instinct for the middle. She transitions off the net quickly, attacks with powerful quick hits, and forms a wall both in the middle and when joining the pins.
