The Future is Here – Texas Advantage Volleyball 15 Black Jason

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Who do you need to know in the 15's age group this year?&nbsp; We are going to tell you in this awesome series that highlights each of the teams to watch in this star-studded class.&nbsp; We are going to start with the extremely talented roster of the [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball 15 Black Jason squad.&nbsp; They have tons of names to know and just bested all of the opponents in one of the biggest tournaments of this new season.&nbsp; Although it wasn't easy at all, they were named champions of the prestigious Tour of Texas Stop #1 tourney that just took place with some of the best teams from across the state and nation.&nbsp; We will highlight a few of their players who stood out to us while we watched them compete.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["580658"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-678ee504a6ff3"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Caitlin is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Nolan Catholic High School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball program.&nbsp; After watching this young lady in action all weekend, I am sure of one thing…she is amazing!&nbsp; We have seen her before in action at our showcases but was very intrigued to watch her play with her awesome teammates against top notch competition in the Open level.&nbsp; I was very impressed with her ability to play the libero position in every aspect.&nbsp; Her ability to read the play well before it fully transpires is next level.&nbsp; It almost seems like she is controlling the game as if she knows the script before hand.&nbsp; She was always super balanced before, while moving to the ball, and during contact of it.&nbsp; While a lot of younger liberos are better at one aspect of the position over the others, Caitlin can truly do it all on the court at a high level.&nbsp; Her serve receive keeps her team's offense running very smooth and I am unsure why anyone even tests her.&nbsp; Her ball control is so good that its almost better for her opponents if they do not serve her at all.&nbsp; Miss Carrizales is for sure a not so secret weapon that this team will use on its way to winning a lot more championships this season.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Lovejoy High School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball program.&nbsp; I came to the realization after watching this young lady play the game of volleyball this weekend…she is a BEAST in the back row.&nbsp; I watched her put on an absolute master class in digging out of middle back for multiple matches against some of the best competition in the age group.&nbsp; Over and over again my jaw dropped when I watched her save her team and keep the ball in play when I thought that the ball would hit the floor.&nbsp; Her ability to dig the hard driven ball whether it was hit directly at her or outside of her zone, she was able to soften the contact with her entire body and platform to angle it perfectly toward her setter.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Highland Park School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball program.&nbsp; Miss Floyd is a PROBLEM on the court!&nbsp; The talented lefty phenom might just be one of the top opposites in the entire nation and everyone was put on notice this weekend.&nbsp; Her ability to be a shut down right side was on full display with every swing that went against her.&nbsp; She is a true two-way player who can play offense and defense at the highest level possible.&nbsp; By being a lefty, she attacks easier from the right side and TAV's setters use her early and often for a reason.&nbsp; As an attacker, she is six foot three and uses every inch of her reach to score at a high clip.&nbsp; She has immense power and can cut the ball around the block with precision.&nbsp; I watched her move the ball around the block with purpose and this should scare any opponent who will try their best to stop her from scoring.&nbsp; While most taller players can be a bit lumbering as they move around the court, Sarah's lateral movement while blocking and also her approach to the ball was super crisp and fast.&nbsp; I especially loved her speed while transitioning from defense to offense in order to give her setter an option to attack with.&nbsp; This young lady is special and I strongly suggest each college coach puts her name on their short list of athletes to watch this season.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While this entire roster is elite, I am only highlighting a few of them in this first installment of coverage.&nbsp; Some of the other players who turned my head with their awesome performance were setters Evan Beville and [player_tooltip player_id='548605' first='Norah' last='Hicks'] who were both very precise with their location when dishing out the rock.&nbsp; Outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='580713' first='Trinity' last='Johnson'] used her amazing athleticism to tower over blockers and score at will all weekend.&nbsp; She showed me that I need to give her a solid look when it comes to the rankings update.&nbsp; Middle Nicole Jacobson played very well at the net on both ends and will be someone to watch moving forward.&nbsp; Pin hitter [player_tooltip player_id='535468' first='Olivia' last='Permenter'] dropped some serious bombs on everyone they faced all weekend long.&nbsp;
