The Indians have reached new heights in recent years and Blair has a lot to do with that in her two seasons on varsity. Blair takes solid strides toward the net and puts a lot of power into her swings that go to the lines and back rows. Blair is also not afraid to take some things off her swings to deposit them to open parts of the court. Blair also times up balls well at the net landing sound blocks. Blair had 263 kills, 30 solo blocks and 38 assisted blocks, helping Adair County go a school record 22-10 on the season, hitting 20 wins in one season for the first time in program history.

Wins have not come easy in recent years for the Hawks, but Cote gives the team reason for optimism these next three seasons. Cote has been a sound blocker in the middle in her two seasons on varsity. Cote turned into a reliable option offensively for Pike County Central this past fall taking solid swings. Cote had 146 kills and 54 solo blocks for Pike County Central this past fall.

Queen has a bright future ahead of her for the Lions. Her size does wonders at the net. Queen takes sound swings sending balls hard to different parts of the court. Queen especially does a great job painting the sidelines. Queen can do a lot of good blocking solo and doubling with a teammate. Queen had 139 kills, 35 solo blocks and 30 assisted blocks for the Lions this past season, helping the Lions make it back to the 16th Region Tournament.

Riddell does a good job adjusting to sets in the front and placing balls away from defenders. She puts down overpassed balls. More will be expected of Riddell with the graduation of Estill County's two kills leaders. She made a big impact blocking balls at the net with her sound timing. Riddell finished third on the team with 84 kills and led the Engineers with 30 solo blocks. Riddell helped lead Estill County into the 14th Region Tournament.

Roose has the size that Notre Dame is blessed with on a yearly basis to keep the tradition going there. She does an outstanding job attacking balls with a purpose. Roose knows it will take dedication to make an impact for the tradition-rich Pandas and seems determined to do just that. Roose will only continue to grow playing for the talented NKYVC team.
