In the Class of 2026, it's not always easy to get the spotlight, especially at outside hitter.

This class is full of powerful arms that turn a lot of heads.

Still, there's a handful of outsides in this class that deserve a little more attention, as they have been consistently playing at a high level and adding new pieces to their game.

[player_tooltip player_id='449093' first='Skyye' last='Frailey'], Troy Athens/L2

Frailey is a player that is continuing to add new dimensions to her game, especially on the defensive end. She's proven to be a six-rotation outside that can change the game in all phases. Frailey's offensive ability has always been there, but polishing her defensive play should help draw more eyes from college programs. Frailey is a driven player that wants to be great, so you can count on her to add even more to her play this club season as she looks to put together a dominant senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='261208' first='Skylar' last='Marteen'], Northville/L2

Marteen had her prep season end prematurely due to a knee injury during the postseason, but her impact on the Mustangs was definitely a big reason the team ultimately won the state championship. At 5'9”, Marteen gets well above the net and can deliver some devastating attacks and blocks. She had a knack for making game-changing plays and shifting momentum in favor of her team. While this injury will take work to come back from, Marteen will be driven to shine next fall and prove she's among the best hitters in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='446706' first='Payton' last='Nelson'], Lakeland/High Performance

The 6'1” Nelson is having a breakout club season and showing she can be an outside teams can rely heavily on. She's racking up huge kills totals and taking on a big workload at the net, with showing no signs of slowing down. Her attack angles have been aggressive and with a lot of power, but she's also proving she can finish consistently from the back row. Her size, combined with her movement and form, make Nelson someone you should keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='726490' first='Nevaeh' last='Plaster'], Northview/MVA Rise Academy

Plaster is a well-balanced outside that is hitting another stride in her play this club season. She's putting the ball away at a great rate and has a knack for knowing what last-second adjustments to make. Because she's got a lot of explosion off the floor, Plaster is able to attack at different arm angles, or just wait an added moment to fool blockers. Her athleticism is going to make her someone that will be hard to ignore over the next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='706598' first='Soniah' last='Robinson'], Woodhaven/Michigan Elite

Robinson is a versatile player that you can put almost anywhere on the floor. That gives her teams some roster flexibility, which is always important. She's a driven player that puts in a lot of work in her passing and serve receive, and shows a lot of adaptability at the net, able to put away some out-of-system balls. No matter where she is on the floor, Robinson gives her all to make an impact, and she usually does just that.

[player_tooltip player_id='442613' first='Lily' last='Sukup'], Goodrich/Five:1

Sukup is another player that stands out every time you watch film of her teams. She makes a lot of plays look easy, which is why sometimes she can be underappreciated. Her approach at the net is technically sound, and she rarely puts a bad touch on the ball. Defensively, Sukup has lightning-fast movement and great form to get under the ball. She's also a great leader on the court that plays with plenty of confidence and energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='226944' first='Maya' last='Zarow'], Mercy/Legacy

Zarow is an outside that has played alongside some great talent, so she has been overshadowed at times. But, when you look at her film, she's definitely a well-rounded player. Zarow has a lot of explosiveness and is able to dial up some very strong attacks. Her defensive play also goes under the radar, as she moves well and squares up to the ball consistently. Zarow is definitely a player that can be of value to college programs.
