We're well into the meat and potatoes of our club season here in the Hoosier State, and with MEPLs mostly settled and USA qualifiers right around the corner, let's talk about the group of kids doing the most to invoke an offer (or offers) this summer. Here are five athletes from five different clubs from around the state that look to make the next big step in recruitment.

Our top recruit in this class needs no introduction. Playing for the Samurai at Munciana (read: 18-1), she's already well on her way to dominating all comers for years to come in her club and high school careers. Big, physical and intimidating, Carsyn can terminate at will in front of and behind the setter in any tempo and in any situation. Miss Comer is a Power Four recruit if there ever was one in this class, and it's only a matter of time before the offers roll in.

Also playing up (17-1) for her respective club is Caroline, whose right side play is one of the best (if not THE best) in Indiana for all classes. Long and lean for days, Caroline makes jumping look easy and gravity look irrelevant. She's also a read-and-react blocker, and has a knack for getting touches that other right sides either (1) don't have the size to get, or (2) don't have the intelligence to adjust. She had a bout of injuries during the fall season, so here's to hoping she stays healthy this club season, as watching her play is a joy and a celebration of athleticism.

After spending the past couple of club seasons playing up a year, it must feel GREAT for Anabelle to be playing in her own age group. Her 16-1 at Circle has already won multiple tournaments this season, including the Hoosier Bid Regionals this past weekend. Their earned National bid might turn into an Open bid in the coming weeks, and as the quarterback of the offense, Miss Schembra is more than apt to earn that bid too. Quick-footed, sure-handed and confident, she's a pleasure to watch run the show with the array of attackers she gets to set. Rarely do you find a setter having THIS much fun at the position, but it's who she is.

Listed as a middle on Academy's 17-1, Lila has spent almost the entire time with her new crew on the left pin as part of one of the fastest offenses in the region. Starting to grow into her athleticism, her rhythm with her setter is exceptional, and she really showed out recently at the Triple Crown tournament in Kansas City a couple of weeks ago. Hitting high and hard with pace, Lila has all of the volleyball smarts to turn out-of-system plays into points, and can hit any angle when in-system. I haven't seen much in serve receive from her this club season, but her attacking is so terminal right now that it might not matter.

As a six-rotation outside attacking at over ten feet (10'1.5" to be precise), Luca is one of the more explosive players in this class. She might also be the highest jumper, and there isn't really a comparison to others on this list. As an attacker, everything is with pace and purpose. On defense, her platform is controlled and her footwork anticipates where she needs to go to make passing easier. From the front row OR the back row, Luca is a point-scoring machine, and has made many teams in the Windy City Power League look ordinary. With four opportunities to qualify for GJNCs (MEQ, Windy City, Lone Star, Great Lakes Regional), she is certainly worth the price of admission to watch play.
