In the Class of 2028, we're still getting a feel of what prospects are going to be amongst the best in Michigan.

Right, now, there's nine 2028 players that haven't been talked about much, but are doing some really good work early in the club season. Here's nine that should be garnering more attention in the months ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='587016' first='Lilly' last='Bowman'], OH Plymouth Christian/Michigan Elite

Bowman is a 6-foot outside that likes to step up in a big point. She wants the ball coming her way and she has a lot of confidence she can put it away. She is able to take on back-row swings and finish, while showing a lot of consistency on the pin. Bowman stays very active throughout the point and comes through with some scrappy digs as well. Her work ethic should take her far in the years ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='644157' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'], OH Romeo/Michigan Elite

Bultynck is a promising outside that shows all the signs of being able to be a six-rotation talent in the years ahead. She stays very engaged on both offense and defense and is ready to make a dig and quickly get in an attack in the same possession. Her swing shows a lot of consistency in form and power, but there is still growth for her to dial up the intensity as she gets more comfortable on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='644221' first='Addison' last='DeVries'], DS/L Grandville/FaR Out

“Addie” is collecting a nice number of digs early in the club season. She looks like she plays very freely on the court and isn't overthinking her movements or decisions. DeVries does a nice job of backing up her hitters and is able to square up to the ball in most cases. While her play has been solid, DeVries looks likes she should be able to keep getting better and better this club season.

[player_tooltip player_id='712151' first='Lily' last='Eveland'], DS/L Lowell/FaR Out

Eveland is a spry defender that is able to make some nice, quick plays with her fast reaction time. Her serve receive form is steady and technically sound. Eveland keeps in good position and keeps her eyes moving. As she continues to get more reps in high-tempo matches, it should help continue to elevate her game and take her play to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='644166' first='Ella' last='Foltz'], S Flushing/Michigan Elite

Foltz shows a lot of impressive talent as a setter and a defender. She's also got a pretty potent serve on top of that. Foltz is getting a better feel for tempo and being able to push the pace to bring her game and her hitters up another level. She's been hitting some tough locations early in the club season, but she's also willing to take some chances and challenge herself.

[player_tooltip player_id='742029' first='Kaelyn' last='Horcha'], MB Hartland/L2

Horcha has gotten on some impressive hot streaks early in the club season. She's in a real groove with her setters to put down some thunderous kills. However, she's staying very alert and active at the net to add some kills through her defensive play. Horcha can high-point the ball well and attack at difficult angles for the defenders to deal with. She should be very encouraged with her performance thus far.

[player_tooltip player_id='732304' first='Lena' last='Lancaster'], OH/DS Vicksburg/Dead Frog

Lancaster is playing up in age level, competing for Dead Frog 17 Black this club season, but you'd never know it by the level she's playing at. Lancaster is definitely a name you should keep an eye on, as she's got one of the most explosive swings I've seen for this young class. She really finds another gear at the end of her swing to put down a devastating ball. With this kind of explosiveness already, she's got a lot of time to fine-tune other aspects of her play.

[player_tooltip player_id='722932' first='Rebecca' last='Pavlik'], S Lutheran Northwest/Legacy

Pavlik got some varsity experience this fall and now is the lone setter on her club roster, which gives her an opportunity to grow a lot as a player this club season. Pavlik has active eyes and does a good job of seeing the court while on defense, prepping for a successful set and finish. There's room for her to open new avenues in her game when it comes to deception and speed, but that will come with time.

[player_tooltip player_id='724836' first='Addison' last='Weber'], OH Ubly/Mavericks

Weber is going to get a lot of swings with Mavericks this club season, which will help her discover new aspects of her swing. There's a real nice pop of the ball off her swing, as her swing looks really smooth and consistent. Right now, Weber is doing a nice job of scoring on offspeed plays or ad-libs at the net. She's seeing things well, which is helping her rack up kill numbers.
