2027 Rankings: Top 5

The purpose of our rankings is to expose the maximum number of athletes pursuing the recruiting process to the chance to play at the next level. The most important guideline for our Scouts is that the rankings are a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability.   Important things to consider; Skill needed at that position, IQ, Toughness, Size, Athleticism, and Intangibles such as body language and energy. Remember, all of our scouts place slightly different levels of value on each category. If a player is more athletic, taller, or larger, that will compensate for current skill deficiencies. There's the adage that you cannot teach size and skill. If you go down the different levels of college athletics, the difference is very rarely in skill level. The biggest gaps are in size, explosiveness, and athleticism.    We have spent countless hours in and outside the gym scouting and discussing these players. Congrats to the top 5 players in our 2026 Oklahoma recruiting class.    [player_tooltip player_id='411302' first='Madilyn' last='Hill'] can score from anywhere on the court and is a great outside hitter who keeps defenses guessing with her amazing range. She makes it extremely difficult for teams to get clean digs against her, whether manipulating the block or smashing a ball to the deep corner. Madilyn's vertical and exceptional attitude set her apart even more, and they are qualities that future players should aspire to. Because of her explosiveness, she can strike from angles that most players can't reach and climb above the block. She is more than just a strong hitter, though. Her ability to serve and receive adds even more value, giving her a threat who can influence every facet of the game. Madilyn the top-ranked player in Oklahoma, keeps demonstrating why she's among the best in the area. She is a player to watch because of her brilliance, adaptability, and unwavering competitiveness.     Outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id='578520' first='Mackenzi' last='Law'] is known for working hard, and it's paying off handsomely. She is not only gifted but unrelenting in her quest for development, investing more time and energy into honing her craft. There is no denying her aggressive demeanor. Because of the immense force she produces with her swings blockers and passers must maintain discipline and respond fast or risk losing. She is one of the most influential players in Oklahoma because of her intensity, work ethic, and capacity for big-time performance, but it's not just her strength that makes her stand out. Mackenzi will undoubtedly be a name to watch well beyond the state ranks as she keeps improving.     [player_tooltip player_id='610402' first='Aliyah' last='Owens'] is the definition of range. In addition to being a vital member of the back row and a great right-side hitter, she is also a very good setter, demonstrating that she is nearly invincible on the court. She could undoubtedly fill in and perform admirably if her team needed her in a different capacity. She can stop attacks with her dangerously tall blocking abilities, and her towering presence at the net makes her a nightmare for opposition hitters. She can find ways to put the ball away from wherever making her a dangerous scoring option when combined with a strong approach and a high volleyball IQ. Aliyah is one of the few athletes that can have a complete impact on the game. She is a star in Oklahoma's 2027 class and a player to watch as she develops further because of her versatility, skill, and overall domination.     One of the best players in her class is [player_tooltip player_id='391123' first='Stella' last='Wishon'] because of her offensive firepower. She produces strong, accurate swings that keep defenders on their heels. She is not merely swinging for fun; each swing is deliberate, and she can produce a lot of heat while staying under control. Her openness to question the status quo is one of her greatest assets. She makes defenders maintain their discipline because she knows that hesitating will cost them. She constantly maintains excellent positioning on the pin, jumps into her attack, and keeps the ball on her right shoulder, demonstrating equally amazing technical discipline. Her game may teach any young hitter who is having trouble with approach and spacing a lot. Stella is a game-changing presence at the net thanks to her aggressive mentality, flawless mechanics, and exceptional attacking skills. She is a player in the 2027 class that is worth watching, and her reputation will only grow.     [player_tooltip player_id='739288' first='Emma' last='Wilson'] is the epitome of what a powerful middle blocker looks like. She is a tough attacking weapon because of her explosive approach and agility off the ground, which enable her to capitalize on fast sets and put balls away. She is adept at reading the defense and altering her attack angles to score quickly against even the most formidable blocks. Emma is an enormous threat at the net on defense. She is a very good blocker because of her timing and ability to follow hitters, which stops attacks and makes opponents reconsider their shots. She closes blocks fast and travels laterally with ease, making it hard for hitters to find open court. Emma's work ethic and court awareness are what make her stand out. She remains involved in every play, switching between blocking and attacking with ease and maintaining her team's strategy.
