Cugino (pictured) has a motor for an engine and outstanding range for the M.71 team. She not only does a good job tracking down balls, she finds ways to consistently square her arms up to balls even if leaning to her left or right and making the necessary two to three-point passes. Cugino makes things happen out of system. She can push balls to far corners for kills. Her ball control came up big in the 10-0 run to the 17 Open championship in Atlanta.

Ramsdell-Washington played a huge role in leading the 16-1 team to an undefeated 10-0 16 Open crown in Atlanta. She simply puts on shows on the court. If defenses do not get hands on her swings, the ball goes flying to the ground. She takes full advantage of her size to control the net. Her slide kills catch defenses off-guard. She will be a force to watch the rest of her career.

One can not say enough about the hustle play of Furuta. She has amazing instincts and it continues to show on the court. Furuta has a way of chasing down balls, yet staying under control. That helped the 16-1 Tsunami finish fourth in the 16 Open Division.

Kondik was also impressive for the 16-1 Tsunami. Kondik is taking her game to a higher level in the club season. She has a sound follow-through and is trying to expand her game to hitting in the back row. Kondik produces from all six positions. She makes controlled first touches to set up the offense then helps control the net. The timing on her blocks is phenomenal. She made some big solo blocks in Atlanta over the weekend.

Dyas is not only instrumental to the team on the court, but also off the court. She keeps her teammates loose and with her sense of humor. They turn around and follow her on the court. Dyas controls the net well with her size. The timing on her blocks is second to none and she consistently finds ways to put balls down on solid blockers. She can angle balls off blocks and out of bounds and pound them past the blocks and to the ground. She has great reactions after the team wins the point. Dyas helped the 17-1 Tsunami team finish third in the 17 Open in Atlanta.
