DS/Libs on Fire at SCVA Red Rock Rave I

There are no questions asked and not doubt that this years Red Rock Rave National Qualifier brought out the best from every division, level, age and this doesn't even scratch the surface. Coaches, recruiters and scouts from every division of the collegiate level were in full force seeking to add names to their 2025, 2026, 2027 & 2028 recruit list. As I had the opportunity to watch, record, review and scout the immense talent, it becomes very easy to fall in love with the high flying action of pin hitters, back row attackers and mind blowing blocks, but from an offensive perspective, almost nothing gets started without the assertive communication, the tenacious hustle, the dynamic digs and the superlative passing of the DS/LIBS!!!!   There's no way to encapsule the number of highly talented DS/LIBS out there but let's take a look a few that put in work, regardless of the game or tournament out.    [player_tooltip player_id='525193' first='Alexandria' last='Walker'] is nothing short of ball of FIRE!!!! She is very assertive and her confidence on the court as a Lib is unquenchable! Alex stands in the gap, and she stays ready for any attack that comes her way! Not only does she receive it, but she also digs with a determined mindset to give off a solid pass and she is simply undeniable! Into the Red Rock Rave, Hadley displayed a host of skills; maximizing her ball placement abilities and standing on the fundamental platforms that provided efficient passing and have her setter great opportunities for impactful passes to their explosive attackers! I watched Hadley seamlessly move from corner to corner, front to back, constantly moving her feet to ensure she's in position to receive and deliver on point passes and this is a tremendous asset. Ava stives for consistency and she is very effective on the floor. This is a result of reading the offensive attack, placing herself in position to follow the ball no matter where it goes, and she stays ready. I have followed Sophia's progress and here's what you must know; Sophia is very active on the court, and she hunts down the ball with ease. Her hunger simply be better grows match by match and her training is coming into clear view. Her low center-of-gravity enables her to stay under the ball and dig efficiently with a very quiet platform and this will continue to be a great asset in Sophia's game. The grind, the hustle, the desire to be the best is evident every game and she brought it all to the Red Rock Rave. India sacrifices, gives up the body, covers corner to corner and displays very efficient passing and she is making a name for herself in the volleyball community. She saw the college coaches, she took note of the recruiters, she stepped on the court and balled out for her team.
