I had the opportunity to watch Ava play early in the fall at the Island Classic, and her awareness and hustle immediately caught my attention. Since then, she’s been on my watchlist. In the 4A state semifinals, she kept impressing by bringing her A-game. Ava was all over the court—digging tough hits, covering her teammates to keep plays alive, and delivering precise passes that set her team up for scoring play.
