The 2025 Adidas Bluegrass Tournament was kind to a pair of 16U FaR Out teams this past weekend.

In the 16 Classic Division, FaR Out 16 Red took home the championship with a perfect record of 7-0, while FaR Out 16 Gold finished second in the 16 Premier White Division, falling in the final in a three-set battle after winning a pair of three-set matches in bracket play.

The two squads had a number of standouts help guide them to their success.

Laney Bieneman: A setter/OPP option for FaR Out, the left-handed Bieneman is dynamic in the things she can do on the floor. She's got a lot of athleticism, which she applies to both positions. Her attacks come with a lot of momentum, while her setting is agile and pushes a strong pace. Bieneman also shows a lot of awareness to make some impressive high-IQ plays.

Londyn Hebner: Hebner is an outside that does a good job of making the most out of her opportunities. She puts a good play on the ball a majority of the time that will challenge the defense, whether it be with a loft or a full-powered swing. Defensively, Hebner is moving well around the floor and able to make some difficult digs looks somewhat routine.

Delaney Lowe: A 5'10” middle, Lowe has a lot of lift off the floor. That, combined with a good wingspan gives Lowe the ability to play larger than her size lists. Lowe has great reaction time and quickness with her attacks, which allows her to play ahead of the blocks and do it with force. She's also an active blocker that plays a key role in the defensive success of the team.

Hayden Bump: A well-coached and composed defender, Bump just has a knack of where to be and what is expected of her. She seems to shine in the pressure spots, and can also contribute with a key set or attack from the back row when the team needs it. Her play was especially crucial during the three-set tournament matches.

[player_tooltip player_id='523842' first='Allie' last='Schwieters']: As a right side, Schwieters was dialed in with her placement this weekend. She put the ball everywhere that the defense wasn't, going sideline to sideline with ease. She didn't have to force a power shot either, showing great awareness of what speed the ball needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='490371' first='Brooklynn' last='Brassard']: Brassard was a real menace on the outside for her opponents. When she wasn't racking up big kill totals, she was coming through with a timely block. Her non-stop offensive assault came from all over the net, as her footwork and explosiveness off the floor are up to par with almost anyone in the class. When she gets a clean look at the ball, look out.

[player_tooltip player_id='523844' first='Irelynn' last='Sedore']: Sedore played a key role this weekend with her defensive play and serving. The DS was a step ahead of opposing hitters and covered a large space of the back row, taking on big hitters regularly. When she hit the service line, Sedore was consistent in coming through with a big ace to get the momentum on FaR Out's side.

[player_tooltip player_id='490375' first='Cara' last='Crittendon']: Another FaR Out middle listed at 5'10”, Crittendon also exceeds that with her length and athleticism at the net. She's got a quick swing that comes at you fast, leaving opponents with little time to react. Crittendon did a nice job of reading the defense this weekend, scoring all over the floor.
