Liberos to keep an aye out for at the Lone Star Regionals 18s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The club volleyball season is almost over for the class of 2025 prospects, with the USAV Girls Junior National Championship coming up in just over a month, in Salt Lake City.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many teams from around the country have already secured a spot in the tournament, but several others are still looking to qualify and this weekend the teams from Texas will have a great opportunity to do it by competing at the Lone Star Regionals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The event is going to take place at the Legends Event Center, in Bryan, from Saturday to Sunday and will have as many as 56 teams from the Lone Star State competing for the eight bids available.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The tournament is going to feature some serious talent from the club volleyball scene in Texas, and we're taking the days leading up to it to highlight those players. She joined the team last season and has immediately become a big part of their defensive system, displaying excellent positioning and superior ball control. Holloway can control hard-driven swings sent her way, but is also agile enough to get to tips and keep the ball off the floor. Consistency is a big part of what she brings to the court as she's a player her coaches and teammates can rely on to deliver steady performances regardless of the situation. Crawford is very intelligent when playing defense as she is very proactive in reading opponents and making adjustments that are often the difference between getting to the ball or not or keeping the team in system or not. She has been one of the best liberos in the Austin area in her age group over the last few years and should be a standout in the position in the event. Bishop is a tall libero and she uses her body extremely well to be productive in the backcourt by expanding her defensive range and moving with great balance towards the ball. She joined the club this season and has been one of their defensive pillars, bringing a lot of agility and effort to their backcourt. Ibarra is very proficient when defending the left and the middle back positions, which allows coaches to use her as a defensive specialist too, paired with another libero. She's an excellent passer, who can cover half of the court on her own and still keep her team in system. Lefeiste is extremely technical and that shows in how well she shapes her body before making contact with the ball and how efficiently she uses the angles to send it exactly where she wants.
