Three 17U Club Teams Surging In 2025

<p>However, there's some club teams that don't get as much attention that are having very good seasons at the 17U level.</p>

<p>Here's three teams that are piling up the wins, and a look at some of their key players.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Crank It 17 Elite Black</strong></h2>

<p>This team has put together 23 wins on the club season, placing in the top five of multiple events that is has been in already. Serving has been a strength for this group, as they are racing up big ace totals and keeping opponents off balance. At the net, Crank It has a variety of capable hitters, including <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='621464' first='Morgan' last='Janowski'] </strong>and <strong>Camry Eveningred</strong>. The team also has some length at the net in middle <strong>Danica DeBell</strong> and setters <strong>Addilyn Vagi</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261175' first='Kendal' last='Quain']</strong>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Dynamite 17 Select</strong></h2>

<p>This squad has put together over 20 wins and is coming off a Club Division title at the 2025 Great Lakes Festival. This team also serves the ball well, but has a lot of nice role players that do their job to high efficiency. Libero <strong>Ruby Pennala </strong>is very active in the back row and has racked up dozens of digs each weekend. She's really locked in and doing a great job to keep the offense in-system. Middle <strong>Morriah Stewart </strong>shows a lot of good things on film. She's got an aggressive swing that she can get off even in out-of-system balls. Outside <strong>Sadie Mertes </strong>has a strong all-around game. She's been able to provide a lift in all phases.</p>

<p>Force has seen some success this club season, including a win in the 17 Club Division of the Presidents' Day Challenge last month. <strong>Natalie West </strong>is a setter/hitter combo player that excels in both areas. Her blocking has been very strong as well, as she's been able to lock up left sides in multiple matches. <strong>Oliva Smith </strong>is a towering hitter that can play anywhere along the net and produces big power when she gets her hands on the ball.<strong> Saige Zoro </strong>is also a hitter that can get hot in a hurry.</p>
